A lot of guitar players play fast, playing tapping tech, doing effects with the whammy bar effect or playing variations of arpeggios but nothing compare to a guitar player who has a special touch, what we call " feel ", i'm talking about guitar players like John Lees, Andy Latimer, David Gilmour, Gary Moore just to name a few, thanks for sharing this fantastic song, with fantastic vocals and guitar solo and sophisticated lyrics.
First time listening to this band. I was searching for something I heard on the radio in the 80s in Berlin. Didn't find that, but this works. Chilling! I want to ask about these pictures but nvm I know.
the lady in the thumbnail looks a lot like an ex-fiancee. This song has deep meaning. Especially, as from God's perspective, the "you said 'i locked you in this body, i mean it as somekind of trial, you can use it as a weapon or to make somebody smile."🎶"somebody" is misheard lyrics. The lyrics are really "...some woman smile."🎶 At least they're not misheard lyrics like for Smells Like Teen Spirit 🎶or Yellow Bed Letter. 🎶
I was lucky enough to see the original line up with Ben Mathews in 83 at Leeds Warehouse and then with Wayne Hussey in 84 at Leeds Uni, we saw them in their last months twice before Mark left for Ghost Dance once in York and we traveled to Germany to see them at Bochum. After 85 the band was never the same, even from the Gift Sisterhood LP you could see Andrew was changing direction. I do have a very rare LP however called Watch the Skies by the Mission on the sleeve but the record is with the Sisterhood name and logo.
