That stopped me dead in my tracks when she said Gutenberg. That blocks thing is the worst thing wordpress ever did. I would have better luck flying a spaceship that trying to figure out what all those icons mean and how to use them. Horrible.
The only constant in life is change! I was very resistant to Gutenberg at first but when I gave it the time I realised how amazing it was. I do have other videos on my channel that show you where to start and learn Gutenberg

I have tried to learn 3 different online booking calendars over the last three days and still can not get one to do what I want. There is no way I want to add that gutincrap to the list of stuff I need to learn. I have tried on several occasions. Makes my head hurt. Thank you for trying and I am glad you like it.
Nicola, I miss the little heart with the dollar sign to the right of the comment field, I see it on many other channels, as a means to also provide a little monetary support. I'm trying to create the 2 block like you did, one in one color and the other in a second color but it won't let me. It colors the whole thing in one color. Do I need the paid Kadence block version to do what I want as you've shown in the video?
No you wouldn't need to upgrade to the Pro version - you might be looking in the wrong place. Look under the 'section' design settings not the row settings
I agree with the previous comment. Glad to see more helpful tutorials. I really appreciate the time that you put into your videos. I am not very experienced with Wordpress or Kadence. Since I have a lifetime Kadence Pro Lic, I do need help at times... So your videos are very helpful. I always learn something from your videos. This one... I never even thought to add additional colors to my color palette. Thanks so much for that helpful tip.

The tools she recommends are solid and a great choice for beginners. Nicola has put in a lot of thought and effort to create useful content and save viewers a lot of time searching for what tools to use.
hi, i want to have a full width background image but for some reason i get spacing on left, right and top. even when i go to advanced and put all spacing to 0 i still have this issue. full widght and align middle are enabled. width of theme is set to 1200px. not sure where i made a mistake.

Hi, thank you for this. All these features yet the simple setting up of one-day-a-week for a session to book does not seem to be available; or am I missing something, please? (I would like to set up a Monday @ 6PM slot and make it available to book; then a TUE @ 7PM slot; TUE @ 8PM slot and SAT @ 11AM slot). I also want to slot in 2 once-a-month-events for people to click and book. Is this the right plugin or must I use something else to achieve my goal, please? Thank you
Instead of using the "full width Websites" plugin, why not just use the Kadence theme instead?? Just wondering what the benefit of using the plugin is?
If you paste more than one paragraph at a time then it switches them to several paragraph blocks. What I do is paste one paragraph, press shift + enter and then paste the next one. It's such a pain but the only work around

Hi, Is there a way to reset the button theme? I've set a template so all buttons appear the same. However, it's messing up the social icons in my footer. It's showing them as buttons instead even when i change the output to masked icons.
Here is HOW TO ADD MORE TESTIMONIALS to the Testimonial Block (super secret, never to be found in documentation): 1. Add the Testimonial Block to your page. 2. Expand the List view. - Look up at the top left of your editing screen next to the Design Library button. - Click the "three lines" icon. - It will expand the page blocks structure heirarchy on the left side of your editing screen (like View > Outline in Google Docs). 3. Click on your Testimonial block in the List at the left. 4. The "Settings Block" will appear on the editing page above your Testimonials Block. 5. CLICK the (+) symbol, near the right in that block. 6. Go crazy. Click it again and again, filling your page with more testimonials than you can every use -- in celebration of finding this Easter Egg! (Imagine if Kadence would add this secret to this page: www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/testimonial-block/)
Excellent work. I learned what I needed to learn about how to create a navigation menu in WordPress. Very clean "show and tell." Very easy to understand. this is a really terrible footer builder.. . also it makes all the titles h2 tags which is bad SEO practice.. it much better to design your footers in the element section and replace this limited, useless and very frustrating customizer footer..
Yeah this is a pain. I thought this wasn't an issue when i switched to kadence from thrive themes. I did find a work around. you can also: from the list view. select the first paragraph then hold shift and click on the last paragraph and it will select all of them. My problem is when trying to change the font size on mobile this way it changes it on desktop too. Even if you are in mobile view. What i did was duplicate the entire row layout with all my paragraphs. Then i would turn off one of the row layouts for each of the rows. You can do this by selecting the row layout settings block (should be already chosen if you have selected the row layout already) advanced tab visibility settings then HIDE on desktop or mobile and repeat for the other device. I trust this makes sense.
