Beautiful room! If you were starting anew where would you start organizing? I have a brand new craft room coming and very anxious and excited! Connie- from Lake Conroe, Texas
So exciting to hear about your new room, congratulations! For me, organizing starts with destashing. Group your supplies by category and get rid of the things that you should not carry forward into your new space. What you get rid of is personal to you, some items hold sentimental value, and only you can make the choice on what’s important. I do try to be honest with myself about whether I have too much of the same thing or if I haven’t used it after a certain period of time, will I ever use it? Good luck and crafty hugs! Keisha
Wow, thank you. While I realize you probably bought the lovely green fabric bins a few years ago, do you recall where you got them and per chance know if they are still for sale? I love that color and the multiple size options.
When I first saw the space- I thought THIS is a store!! So much Goodness in one place..I would never venture out! This is so incredible that its your home studio..Would love to know more about you and your art..As an artist, I know this is a multipurpose room..This would be my dream space with windows or glass skylights. God Bless you & the work of your hands!~ Also I LOVE your rug- where did you purchase it? Love the pop of color
Your craft room is amazing 😻 can you please explain to me what dies are? Google isn’t much help in explaining in a way I understand. What are they for?
I’m still amazed at your crafting space. It is absolutely a beautiful, colorful place to be creative. Thank you for sharing. Question: Do you still have your DreamBox (Mini Mint)?
Love the green label fronts on your clear storage bins and displaying some stamp sets in front of them that fit the theme. Stealing that idea for sure!
Love the green labels and bins to give a bit of cohesiveness as a background to your beautiful rainbow displays of craft items. I’m unpacking after a move and am inspired to beautifully display more items amongst my stamps and other not so pretty items looking forward to checking out your other videos of how you organize your supplies.
If I had that craft room I’d have to pinch myself even time I’m in it, I would think I’m dreaming. that’s one of the nicest and big it looks like a craft store.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Over the past decade, I’ve gotten a lot of joy out of my space. If you care to, you can see some of my work on my Instagram account @atthepapermint or exploring the tutorials on my blog, ThePaperMint.com I know that my work aesthetic is a bit different from what some may expect, but it gives me pleasure and peace. Thanks for watching!
beautiful room and colors. I love the organization BUT where did you get all the money. How do you justify so much expense? IMO you have gone "a little" overboard....unless you use it as a home-based business. This kind of dedication is more than just a hobby.
From one Keisha to another who spells our name right; you are a woman after my own heart. I’ve been talking about getting a craft room and/or she shed for the longest. But I became disabled in 2016 and my income was cut down severely. Oh well maybe I will be blessed to get a room that is a quarter the size of your palace. You are now my favorite person in my world. I would love to be your mentee or friend. Just to pick your brain about this and that, while sipping on some tea or cognac. It was a pleasure meeting you through your castle on RU-vid. It’s awesome.
I gotta say- this makes my super hyper focused organization and cleaning tendencies very soothed, very happy- I am a painter, a crafter, but I can NOT focus if my space is in disarray (like you mentioned- too many things, production goes down!). That being said, I LOVE watching craft and studio tours, updates and clean ups. YOURS is absolutely the most pristine, clean, well organized video I have seen. Kudos to you, this is very deeply satisfying and I dig your style <3
Thank you so much for watching and understanding why this makes me happy. I know it’s not for everyone, but if it can be helpful to someone, then I am glad to have shared it. 🥰
Love both of your craftsmans really really love them in looking at your video. I saw a physics how to make the Sandwich. Do you know if it's still available and if not? Where can I get one. really love you organization?
Hi @KeishaatThePaperMint I loved seeing this tour thank you for sharing. I was wondering where you got the organizers that are holding the simon says stamp pawsitivley saturated inks in? I have been trying to figure out where they are from with no luck :). Thank you in advance!
This is my dream space. So beautiful, so organized, but yet you get to show all your lovely things. I can’t wait for your next video highlighting more of the insides. How blessed you are to have such a space. Lucky girl!
This is my favorite craft room video (and I have a slight craft room tour addiction 😉). Yours is beautiful and colorful and cheery and absolutely inspiring!
Hmmm, want to make sure that I know what you are referring to? What color is the item? Also if you want to take a screenshot and email it to me, I can also help that way. Email: keisha@thepapermint.com.
Never seen someone with a sink in their craft room but it completely makes sense to have one dedicated to that room. Every time I clean stuff in our kitchen sink I always feel weird trying to make sure I don’t dirty anything else in there and figuring out a drying method that’s separate from everything else. I will definitely keep this in mind for the future. Currently home shopping so I’ll def be on the lookout to see if I can find a home to accommodate a separate sink for the craft room 😅
Home shopping is so exciting (and at times stressful). I hope you find what you like. I lucked out with having a waterline in this area when we were finishing our basement and building the craftroom. Thanks for your kind comment and all the best with your home search! ❤️
@@KeishaatThePaperMint thank you 😊 luckily the hubby knows how to do all that stuff! I told him about this and he’s on board! So half the battle is already done
