This song is too good for Chris to hate, in fact this is one of Cold Play's best songs that I like the most. I don't care that Chris said there was something wrong when this song was recorded.
In My Place, In My Place Were lines that I couldn't change I was lost, oh yeah I was lost, I was lost Crossed lines I shouldn't have crossed I was lost, oh yeah Yeah How long must you wait for it? Yeah How long must you pay for it? Yeah How long must you wait for it? Oh, for it I was scared, I was scared Tired and under prepared But I'll wait for it If you go, if you go Leave me down here on my own Then I'll wait for you (yeah) Yeah How long must you wait for it? Yeah How long must you pay for it? Yeah How long must you wait for it? Oh, for it? Singing please, please, please Come back and sing to me To me, me Come on and sing it out Now, now Come on and sing it out To me, me Come back and sing In My Place, In My Place Were lines that I couldn't change And I was lost, oh yeah Oh yeah
true but u cant really see them, the thousands of flashing lights u see are wrist bands that light up in the same colour as the show lights, u get them at the entrance to the concert and they flash to the rythm of the song
4:03 I heard this so often in my headphones when I heard the concert so cool to see it from the stage. This might be one of the coolest bootlegs ever I mean EVER
exactly the reason you started the comment with. This extends to every song besides Fix You - other songs such as the Hardest Part are disliked by half the band, and Talk is disliked by Guy.
As such, they've only mentioned that they don't like it because they didn't record the song well and it wasn't what it was supposed to be. But I think it could also be added to more reasons. They mentioned that the band was going through a very bad time when they released X&Y. Added to that, even though it was a very successful album (it even became among the best-selling in UK history), it was not very well received by critics. "Fix You" was the only thing that saved them at the time when they released the album.
