Great job. I too have used joint compound, but, I do think that plaster would hold up better if you were going to set them outside in the elements. That being said, I would use a good sealer over them if I were to put them outside. Joint compound does not dry as fast, but, I think too, that plaster would be more durable. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful!! I’m not a big fan of faux flowers but you’ve made me a convert! Brilliant idea to combine faux and fresh 🌸. How many tulips did you use? Looks like about 18? Thanks for sharing your creative content!❤️
i have a question. Does it crack when dries? because when plaster dries it usually shrink a little bit. In my experience, when you plaster on a hard surface(like glass jar or bottle) that makes some crack when it completely dies.
I just did this painting a few nights ago. I am a super newbie with the cheapest supplies (paper that bevels, stiff brushes, etc) so it turned out much different than yours but I was still surprised at how good it was!!! Thank you for making it easy for me to follow :)
@Lucy Akins could you please share what colors and where you purchased the paint? Me and my Aunt are out shopping to try and make these! You did a beautiful job!
