Hello! I'm Ian. I'm a Scot who lives in the South Western United States. Join me as I travel around in my Volkswagen Eurovan exploring all the beautiful scenery that this part of the world has to offer. Come on! Jump in, let's see what's out there!
Thanks for the video - those metal parts at the rear of the van are to secure car seats for children. We have found them useful for hanging things from them.
Ehh welcome amigo 🇦🇷🇦🇷..😁😁.. greetings from Mar del Plata ARGENTINA 🤗🇦🇷.... chau Che que la pases lindo en tierra de GAUCHOS y carne ...""land of GAUCHOS and meat ""😎😎....
I enjoyed my time in Montevideo so much but, alas was only there for 24 hours. Next time I plan to stay longer and do more justice to such an amazing and beautiful city. Thank you very much for taking the time to watch. It's much appreciated. :)
Ah that's because I usually travel in the Southwestern USA in my VW Eurovan. This time I went to Argentina and it obviously wasn't feasible to go in the van. Thanks for watching! Much appreciated! Please feel free to watch my other videos where I am traveling in my van. :)

You had me with the title. Super fun dude. We strive to be useful, but it is a work in progress. Where in Scotland are you from? I hope 2023 is full of adventure and growth for you and your channel. We are a father and son team of park rangers and anthropologists who promote eco-tourism, cultural heritage, history, and eating local. Cheers! - Turtle and Bear
Gracias/Thanks for the tour of Buenos Aires! I enjoyed it! Like you, I was there for a brief visit a number of years ago, but I'd like to return and see more of the country, along with more of South America.
Oh I was only there for a couple of days so in a week you will be able to see so many things. It's a beautiful city with so much going on. But do better research beforehand than I did! Have fun!
@@scotsmaninavan it seems to me that the whole van stick to the road harder with speed. I noticed around 160 km/ 100 miles the van is glued to the road. I also noticed that the side wind doesn’t effect the van as much as other vans I had a opportunity to drive. Obviously T4 went to production in 1993 first time and shouldn’t be compared to a new vans although I still feel that what I have it for is the best I could buy. T4’s synchro/4 motions were sold only with manual gearbox then. I have auto. It doesn’t stop me going off road. I have to be sensible and always have recovery gear if needed. It’s good in the sand. A decent road tyres pumped to 12-18 Psi get me to almost any beach. My Amarok needs to go to FWD way before my T4 stops. I have Amarok for last 10 years driving the same places so I can compare. I have done 512k kms on T4 and 220k on my Amarok. I feel it is enough driving to be able to compare.
@@TheMidrev Thank you for sharing your experience with the van. I'm glad to have the auto gearbox as living in the USA has made me lazy for manual shifting! I'd totally consider the ID Buzz when it arrives here if I could afford one. What do you think?
