Help me please!!!! Do you know the Batocera game emulation system? So, I'm about to buy a mini pc, to get the system running... I'm in doubt between two processors, Ryzen 7 7840HS AMD Radeon 780M x Ryzen 9 6900HX AMD Radeon 680M Can you help me with this? Currently, the heaviest consoles that Batocera emulates are PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch HELP!
Hi, If you're deciding between the Ryzen 7 7840HS and the Ryzen 9 6900HX for your mini PC running Batocera, I'd recommend going with the Ryzen 7 7840HS. It has higher base and boost clock speeds, which are great for emulation, especially for heavy consoles like PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch. Plus, the Radeon 780M graphics are from the newer RDNA 3 architecture, giving you better performance and efficiency compared to the 680M in the 6900HX. Also, the 7840HS has a lower TDP, so it should run cooler and quieter-perfect for a mini PC setup. Overall, you'll get a smoother emulation experience! Hope this helps! 🎮👍
@@TrueTechFinds Wow, thank you very much friend! You helped me a lot. I'll stick with the Ryzen 7 7840HS. Now, just one question. Regarding the boost clock. Do I need to bootstrap? If Yes, is this healthy for the processor in the long run? Or with the base clock, can I have a good gaming experience?
@@MayckolaUe Great question, you don’t need to manually "bootstrap" or overclock the CPU to enjoy a good gaming experience. The boost clock is designed to kick in automatically when you need extra performance, so the processor will handle it for you. For most games and emulation, the base clock speed should be sufficient, especially with the Ryzen 7 7840HS or Ryzen 9 6900HX. You’ll still get a solid gaming experience without worrying about overheating or long-term damage. Just make sure your cooling is good
@@TrueTechFinds I understood! Thank you very much for the explanation.😁 I'm from Brazil, and the prices here are very high. For example, a mini pc with Ryzen 7 7840hs is equivalent to US$ 4,500.00 But I'll see what I do. I have already subscribed to the channel and will follow the content. Have a good day! 😁

I got the Dell G2724D last week. It's PERFECT for the PS5 using Console Mode. The Adaptive Sync is flawless! However, you'll need an Ultra Fast HDMI cable ($16), as the original PS5 HDMI cable didn't work for VRR at 1440p. Forget about 4K, 1440p will be the sweet spot for years to come. Assembly is easy peasy. It looks awesome! I paid only CAD $229. Totally RECOMMEND it. 👍
Awesome! Glad to hear the Dell G2724D is working great with your PS5! 🔥 Totally agree, 1440p is definitely the sweet spot for gaming right now. Thanks for the heads-up on the HDMI cable too! 👌 Sounds like a killer deal for that price!
Haha, I get what you mean! 😅 €250 can feel like a lot for "budget," but sometimes investing a bit more can make a big difference in comfort and durability. Secret Lab definitely has that premium feel!
Bought on 9/3 Costco online a MSI Aegis R2 Liquid Cooled Gaming Desktop - 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900F - GeForce RTX 4080 Super, 16GB, 2 tb ssd, 64gb ram. 90 day return and 2year warranty plus three included games for 2600 - 200 additional discount (which more than covered the tax and delivery charge). Just saying, I think I got a steal on a solid machine.
Wow, that’s an insane deal! 🔥💯 The RTX 4080 Super and i9-14900F for that price? You definitely scored big on a beast of a machine! Enjoy those games and the crazy performance!
