I painted my handguard on my AR wolf grey and i ordered the primer, smoke grey spray paint, and the matte acrylic varnish online from a company called "mtn graffiti Spray paint". After seeing the results I strongly recommend anyone planning to spray paint their weapon to get the prep and paint from MTN. Everyone thinks my handguard came cerakoted from the factory lol no one even believes i spray painted it. Their paint dries quickly, they come with way better spray nozzles, they have those hard to find colors you can't find anywhere else, and they're actually cheaper than the spray oaint you get in stores.
I painted my CZ P10S AND MY RUGER OD GREEN ALSO A FEW MONTHS BACK FIRST TRIP TO THE RANGE HAD A FAILURE TO FIRE WHIT THE CZ BROKE IT DOWN OILED IT AND IT'S BEEN GREAT MY RUGER AS WELL 💥
Why paint a gun just yo have the finish wear off? Especially with Rust-Oleum which doesn't cure out completely on most parts of the rifle or pistol. Show the whole thing, now kids in 2 months of use most of your paint will be rubbing off. This is only for looks definitely not functionality.
Look forward to watching what else ya got planned this year. I've only 🅱️ainted a BB 🔫 so far. Only the slide though. I'd give it a C- maybe, but not bad for the 1st time with the pssh psssht besides a few pieces of furniture in the past.
It absolutely will. Almost immediately. But that Glock 44 (22lr) probably isn't getting much time in and out of a holster. This is precisely why you don't see many rattle can painted pistols
