Ive just bought a Fox Rampage Mips and mine squeking is driving me nuts! I bought it to replace my 10 year old specilized Dissident and my god i wish i'd saved up for a new Dissident. The build qualilty is night and day superior 😢
Good stuff! I’m just getting back into mountain biking after not riding for nearly 10 years. I used to ride the Gulch all the time back when there was the teeter totter over the old pick up truck on the west side if you remember that. I just got a job at Boeing a few months ago so I think I will be hitting the trails there after work. Maybe I’ll see you there sometime.

Ouch. Looks like a combination of slick rock and not hitting it square so you tire slid out from the rocks angle not allowing the tire to grip. Coming in at lower speed might have helped you navigate the terrain a bit better. Looks like you hit it pretty hard, glad you are okay. I've had two good crashes in the last month that I have no idea how they happened. Both OTB and not off a jump or drop. I think I caught a pedal on a rock sticking up at about 20mph on a downhill for one, but not positive. The other I think I got the front wheel slid in some loose dirt and caught in a hole in a corner, then launching me. But they both happened so fast I cannot say for sure and no witnesses to let me know.
Mine does this too. Drives me crazy. I fixed it by taking out the MIPS liner and putting a coating of Burt's Bees lip balm (just beeswax basically) over the entire surface of the MIPS. Grease works too, probably better, but I wanted something a little more natural
@@Jesse-ff6hb I don't have the RS version, just the normal proframe- and at least in this model it's easily removable. There just 4 rubber tabs in slots that you can easily pop out without damaging a thing.
You brought a knife to a gun fight. I crashed in a similar spot on my trail bike following a buddy's line who was on a proper dh bike with maxgrip rubber. He rode ot fine, I ate shit. Whistler slabs are slick as hell
