Well RIP thats some hours / days of statue farming wasted (unless it got patched which i dont think). There is a yellow bubble called "Startue Exp", its the 3rd one which resets the exp to X% after a level up instead of 0%. Thing is, this only works ONCE per stack of statues you throw in. Means you only got whatever your % on said bubble is once on the Feasty Statue level up from 65 to 179 instead of every time when you level them up in small stacks over and over again.
@@SoukenIDK really it works like that!? Sheeish so i should have been plucking out tiny stacks of 100 statues a time? ... You know what, i think the instant gratification I got from seeing 10's of level ups at a time was worth it, even though it would have been better to get all the efficiency possible out of it i would have gone crazy if i were to do 1 and 1 level. But thanks for putting the info here so other people can be aware! :)
@@HarbingerIV It used to work that way at least when i finished my onyx grind. Honestly not sure if its fixed / patched by now or not. Was quite a task splitting it all into small stacks. Should be fine either way!
@@SoukenIDK Yeah, but at least now i will know that i'd better deliver often rather than save up large stack! Thanks for the info and good gainz to you! :)
I picked this game un on a sale, and i like it. It is a little bit different from the other things i am currently playing, but for me it is a bit refreshing :)
not gonna lie at first i hate myriad offer (there are more curse selection but you need to take more curse points ,11 instead 10 in unfair) but seeing as how narrow without it I'm gonna be fine picking 1 point of curse more then without it
@@frido7939 Agree, the extra curse point can be a bit harsh, but i think the "Build your own run" mechanic is more interesting with the choice between several minor debuffs, instead of only one huge hard to manage debuff. Thanks for watching! :)
Interesting but is that not the basic of Gambler's fallacy theory where since coin tossing is a single event each time, past result cannot be factored in current/future result?
@@Elistios not quite sure what you are aiming at here, these coin tosses are not independent. We only have a % chance to reset if we fail the first throw. Which means that the second coint toss will automaticly succeed if the first coin toss succeeds. The gamblers fallacy describes that if you have 10 upcoming coin tosses, the outcome of toss 1 does not impact toss nr 10. Here we are looking at the chance that over 25 coin tosses, none of them will have an undesirable outcome given a particular strategy.
@@HarbingerIV I was not aiming at anything really, It was a genuine question since you mentioned the coin toss in your early example which reminded me of that common mistake people made in statistic in regard of unique event etc. I'm not in any case saying your calculation is wrong, I didn't even unlocked snail yet in my gaming so it was really more of a question I was wondering to see if this was applicable here or not
@@Elistios yeah ok, it does not apply here no. We are doing a binomic distribution to see what the chance of a reset happening at least once over 30+ attempts, not trying to predict the chance of a reset in "the next throw," that will allways be (1-%a)x(%b).
@@GoldenGloveGG no intentional hidden message no, I just have a lot of stuff. I have the ram companion, so inventory space does not really matter any more. Some of the things are their alternate gear for skilling, and some of the things are "rare", like keychains and quest rewards that i might use a time in the future. Some items are crafting ingredients i buy out from shop each day, but i dont bother crafting them into items every day. Also we are trying to save up 75 lucky lads. I could probably get rid of some of the items, but yeah, once you have ram, and decent stack-sizes inventory space basicly is just an extention of the bank.
This was hands down one of the, and maybe even the luckiest game i have ever had - and we have the end of game score to prove it. What do you guys think?
If i have done the obsidian statue for the "kapaow" statue thingey? Nope! That is currently going absolutely nowhere at snail-speeds! I sadly spent all of those statues before i realized how rare they were, i have a tactic for how to get more, (which is actually the topic for my next big vid), but at the moment i only have 443 of them :'(
@@SONYUSR you like meddler and the army of bones they summon if you hit a stroke of bad luck? Because i really dislike their 1/3 chance to summom more enemies before we can stop their dice rolling, compared to scoundrels 1/6 chance per roll to cotribute with vulnerability 1. But of course people will have different opinions on that and i am very open to hearing why you think meddler is the wrong choice, because there might very well be something about meddler i am not quite enlightened about yet.
There's so much to do I don't know what to priotize lol. I'm still at world 5 but I can definitely push through to world 6 with candies... but I also already got my hands full of stuff still unlocked at world 4 and 5 😅😂
Game is so full of content, and the dev is expanding it every month, so it can certanly be somewhat overwhelming yes! If I was still at world 5, i would prioritize unlocking all features that are time-gating progress. This means pushings to the next world so you unlock the skills at World 6, push through the "secret levels" in w3 so you can gain access to Equinox if you havent already. - as you see in the video here, a big chunk of the damage increase come from world 6 features, and just getting to there will pay huge dividends for you by increasing damage, letting you do everything else much better. If you can push with one character to world 6 by spending less than 10% of your banked candy hours I'd definitely do so. Candy cant be used in w6 anyways, so the main usage for them after w6 will be Billions of Gmush kills, 100M cooking kills in w1-w5, and maybe grinding specific cards. most importantly have fun! hope this helps!
@@HarbingerIV hmm maybe I will push to world 6 since you recommended it. Also knew pushing through worlds and unlocking new features adds more to my damage, I'm just really inconsistent when it comes to resource grinding 😅 Anyway, thanks for the advice sir 😊
@@KDomination No pressure! Game is 99% a single player game, as long as you have fun you should not feel that you are doing something "wrong" when it comes to progression, just suggesting to push w6, since you thought you could reasonable do that, and there are cool stuff there to seek out :)
Great question! AFAIK DKs Orbgives you a multiplier based on orb rate x droprate, while ES gives multiplier based on multikill x wormhole% and drop rate. -However multikill only counts for the main monster drop. At this map in particular, at the damage i had at this point in the game, orb got 600-900 kills, while ES only got ~100 ish kills. So at this map DK has very much an advantage, in the followup video to this one tables are very much turned around :)
I think most people prefer to use AFK-SiegeBreaker, as they dont have any other very important role to fulfill, and Gmush is the easiest mob to kill so they will push forge-progress more. I think my GMUSH kills are 95% Siege, 4% BBerzerker (for 100M) and the rest share the last 1%. Probably my ES/Bubo/DK would be better at active killing them than Siege - But i rather want them to farm things i need Actively, while SB can sit and farm Gmush all day.
@@TheRealSappii In my opinion SB & Beastmaster are least priority for gear in the endgame. I still give them gear, but prioritze the other characters first.
Welcome to the world of IdleOn! This early in the game i think the most important thing to do is to just enjoy the game. There is very many things to do within the game and it is easy to be overwhelmed by all the options. Owl is a nice new feature added to the game that will help people through the early game much faster, but once you have gotten 10 levels on the last mega feather is it very slow further progression from there. A lot of the features in the later worlds reward you for simply having unlpcked them ages ago, so a thing that 'should' be prioritized is to get to world 6. - that will take some time, but as long as you focus on having 100% surbivability and 100% accuracy you should be doing fine when pushing maps, (once you reach w3 using food to survive will be a must). Two very nice checkpoints along the road to world 6 is to unlock the advanced classes on all your characters (map 3 in w2 map 4 in w4). Most importantly, the game is more about the journey than the destination, dont be stressed by all the things there is to do, you will get there in due time. Good luck on your gains! :)
Yes, it is the Savanah Giant, Its "name" is Jangwa - when you hover over the giants when creating the planet you can see their names :) - But yes, most people will probably refer to them by their primary biome, rather than their name.
Thanks for watching, really happy with the outcome in this one, getting my current personal high-score on a Mono-giant run is pretty wild! Taking suggestions on what Challenges to do next, though I have some ideas in the pipe already!
Coins will a d should be limited for a while, once you get to world 4 you start unlocking a few features that will help with getting more coins, but they will not really have an effect before you hit world 5 and 6. Best way to gather coins before those features are online is brobably just to grind the highest map you can with 100% accuracy & survivability! Good luck!
@@HarbingerIV I usually put all character on afk mob farm on the highest floor and coin drop, also card bonus, still not enough for stamp, those are very expensive lmao. But do you have any tip on w4, I just kinda do just that on all character to gain lvl and coin for now.
@@veasnatdm4861 When you are at world 4 like you are now, you have access to the lab - Getting lab online takes a bit of investment, so starting to do it with some lesser important charactes could be an idea to consider, basically there is this feature a little bit into the lab that gives you additional % money based on Green mushroom kills, that is a real-deal money maker - But to get a lot of value out of that you need to 1. - have spent a lot of time in lab with enough characters to unlock it. 2 - have enough damage to kill millions of mushrooms. Getting to world 5 first also helps, because there you will unlock an ability that lets you have your lab-bonuses without having people stuck in the lab. Before this is online - Grinding your highest map is a good choice, you get money, xp, and unlock more maps! - Just make sure you allways have 100% survivability and Accuracy. PS: also 1 thing a lot of players miss in w4, is that you can get a nice sum of money from the guy that gives out elite classes after you choose your elite class, so you could check with everybody there that you properly finished that quest for a nice amount of coins.
Hey! Thanks for asking! When I was about 11-12 years old me and the boys at scool were playin a lot of age of empires 2. We did usually just play untill Imperial age (Represented by IV), build up large armies, and the first one to get there usually was the one that won. Harbingers are emmesarries, messengers, omens or other things that warns of some kind of change to come, so i felt that "HarbingerIV" was a fitting warning to my fellow players that i will soon reach imperial age and then win the game. Now i dont play all that much age of empires any more, but i like the username so it stuck. I also like corvids a lot, they are creative problemsolvers, are social, and they have historical associations as omenbearers, so i felt they were a fitting representation for the Harbinger, as i bow play mostly strategy- based games. Thanks for asking! :)
Thanks for following along with these challenge-runs! I really learned a lot in this run and i think if we can execute the strategy here a little bit more flawlessly we can earn some really big-BIG numbers! What challenges would you guys like to see next? :)
The 3-Era challenges become a bit longer than the 1 and 2 era challenges, should we split the Eras up in separate videos or is it ok with long videos for consistensys sake? As allways thanks for watching!
I still have no idea why are all the end gamers buying silver bags from the w1 shop, i saw griffy and a couple of other screenshots in his discord with a ton of these bags
Spoilers for world 2 & World 6: Silver bags are a part for a recipie for one of the w2 secret bosses. Every bag lets you summon the boss once, which if defeated rewards cards and loot and stuff. In world 6 we unlock a feature that lets you stack worldwide-multikill based on how many times you defeat minibosses - so therefore we want to buy these bags every day possible :)
No, you can play on smartphones too! Even better you can play on the same account both on pc and on phone! I also think it is avaiable in web-browser but have not tried that myself :)
Yeah, it is scary addictive. I think I am going to set boundaries for myself for these additions to the game, once i get to the final feather (or equivalent) no more than 1 tier increase a day. It is just too addictive.
yeah, after getting the final one I'm just letting it do it's thing and checking from time to time after like the 20th mega reset it takes more than 10+ hours anyway
New subscriber here. This was the video I needed even though it was 6 months ago. Your the only video out there right now teaching us how to play the game. Omg its frustrating to play this game on your own without any help.
Hopefully the future maps will have mobs in them (fex. shovels for W2), that way the characters can atleast grind something while we are watching numbers go up!
@@HarbingerIV right that would be good, I'm guessing the kangaroo rat thing he showed on the dc will be kinda the same gimmick for W2, and since it's fishing, maybe we can fish in the map? maybe another only active thing? tho I can't do the active skills in the equinox yet xD not enough efficiency
does anyone have a problem with the super chow talent? mine doesn't count anything and I killed all mobs from w1 to w5 100m+ but when I check the skill, it still counts as 0 multi
@@ricardoalves1642 As far as i know, it is a known issue he has adressed and it should be on the list of things to fix, but there is a lot of work to do, between adding more stuff, fixing stuff, testing and balancing, but he will probably get to it sooner or later :)
@@ricardoalves1642 yeah very understandable that it is frustrating, especially when you do your first one, and it takes a while, then it is very dissapointing that it does not count. But at least you now know the workaround so good luck with future 100M!
Yeah, once one applies itself it is easy, when i first got there i didnt have enough damage to clear the map before respawns, so i just put it out for a while, untill i decided to push through and just do it :)
Turns out once we apply ourself and think a little getting precisely 150 & 333 was no problem, so if you havent done it yet, just go ahead and do it! :)
I used a beastmaster for the longest time, then i went for ES, but bow in W6 you kind of need to have everyone be good so i dont really know if i havr a main any longer!
