Very cool, it's always great to see new J&D content! I'm curious, would it be possible to add tree and shrub assets from Jak II and Jak 3 to this kind of an J&D environment? Maybe even snorkle teeth or glubs?
The new OpenGoal update lets you import vanilla skies to custom levels, you should add it, it would add a lot. Other than that, it looks fantastic, great job
This looks absolutely incredible, very excited to play omg. Insane work, thank you for being a reason that the excitement for this series is still alive and well ♡
That is so dope cuttlefish this level feel like a precursor legacy sequel and the sound track in the back ground remind me so much of the Jak and daxter 2001 trailer. How you learn how to do all of this? And are you planning on making a story line to it?
It made me happy to play a new Jak level with navmeshing of enemies, please make more and maybe some platforming and other eco powers? (Just a thought)
Ok Cuttlefish :D I see you man, I really like these levels it remind me of geyser rock 2. it will be really interesting to see ya make a yellow sages hut level or even snowy mountain part2 level that will be sick and than you get to ride the zoomer that will be really cool :D
The unfinished level from the original. Since that would go hand in hand with a Yellow Sage Hut level which was also something not included in the original that would have fit in well.
All of the systems seem to be integrated perfectly! I imagine this took a lot of work. Really cool to see. I am just getting started with Blender and want to create a level on a smaller scale. I would love to know about your workflow for making Jak-style levels and making the materials look believable.
this looks pretty good already!! if you want some constructive criticism, I'd suggest making the on foot area a bit more populated and definitely harder. If possible add some kind of "purpose" to those last wooden platforms.(I'm assuming those are the same ones found in the swamp, and there they serve the purpose of letting you cross the murky looking brown water that damages you) Maybe those wooden platforms could serve a similar purpose, and if it's too much to add those kinds of entities yet(ik that water was a pain to add to custom levels) you could use some kind of pitfall instead. besides that I really liked the level design
