Sweet baby Moses, I just came home from competing in my first level 2 USPSA event today (I've been doing 2Gun for two years, USPSA for 6 months) and watching Christian shoot (as compared to my own performance) is like comparing the EPL to elementary school soccer! Most impressive!
Great shooting. Hard to remember the course too, not just shooting. But, I’d like to see these shooters use guns out of the box with iron sights, like the average person and see scores and times. Just curious. I qualify multiple times a year for work, train and shoot about 3-6 times a year, and target shoot regularly. We shoot similar courses for active shooter prepardness. My Glock is standard with iron sights. Most everyone else, including all range masters and trainers have customized weapons. They shoot more accurately, and faster, for obvious reasons. All of them tell me to use red dot and customize. I shoot well, but would like to shoot better.
That's like telling the F1 race drivers to use a prius. Yeah, it would be slower a bit, but they'd still run it the fastest and most precisely it has ever been run.
@@christiansailerofficial shooters that train and shoot professionally live at the range, because it’s their passion and life. So yes they probably would. The average person including law enforcement don’t have the time or desire. My thought is if you’re in a profession that requires the use of a firearm, you need to train. I wish agencies would provide the very best in weapons and training, but they don’t.
Insane transitions. Keep it up man, you are amazing! I wanna be as good as you! Although, we are the same age and I only started about 9 months ago hahahah. I'm gonna try my best!
@@swiftaudi I’ve been putting in about an hour a day. Watching endless training videos, buying practical shooting books and reading my ass off. Anything to exponentially improve my skill. Got a dryfire swinger to practice on as well which is really cool.
@@ThePlatypusRippah doing the same thing with ben stoegers books, I've gotten my draw time from strong side no concealment down from 1.2 seconds to 0.74 in 2 weeks. And my grip consistency and transitions are a lot better, so the practice definitely works.
Congrats on this win Christian. I find it encouraging to see the make ups on steel and even going to war on the full size popper at the end of stage 12. LOL I'd also like to point out that you still won stage 12. I had the exact same stage plan.... it just took me 10 seconds more.
Well. . . I do have exactly three things in common. . . We both shoot the same pistol, and we are both right handed and on paper we do the same sport, but that’s about where the similarities end. . . Wow. Super impressive.
I think you were 19 or 18 when I saw you first shoot. What are you now mabe 22 and a national champ. To watch your transitions and to be aware of your targets is awesome. I competitively shoot too and I understand under pressure how easy it is to miss targets and get lost where you're at and you make it look easy. It's awesome to see a younger generation enjoy this sport and Excell at it.
Not this time but always the aim! :) I train to have my performance bubble (worst to best performance possible) to always get higher through my rigorous training and to a level that even at my worst, it's still a win! Re-listen to my podcast if you're confused buddy.
