Currently own and ride both a Honda GoldWing GL1800 (The Wing) and a Harley Davidson Electra Glide (The Hog). However, I am interested in all things ‘Motorcycle’ and love them all.
The purpose of this channel is to share my motorcycle experiences and thoughts with like-minded people who love to ride. I prefer the quiet backroads and often ride alone.
Enjoy and feel free to comment. I only ask that you be civilized.
Hey, thanks for stopping by and checking out the video. The reservoir cover comes from Ram Mounts. The part name is: RAM Offset Reservoir Cover Ball Base (RAM-B-346U)
Great video. I saw a video where a rider mounted his devices on a the black part of his adjustable windshield like the one on your Wing. I’ve been looking for a solution because I want my devices further away where I don’t have to look as much away from the road when looking at GPS.
Ive got the '07 im 6ft and with my oem shield at the lowest point the wind is still hammering my head and was gettind dizzy, I don't want to raise it because I like looking over the windshield by a couple of inches..Is the wind going over your helmet now with that??
I agree with you. I don’t like looking through a windscreen either. Although not a recurve like a Klockwerks or other brand, the Madstadt is engineered to reduce the wind pressure by design. I am 5’8” and have the adjustment set low on the 8” windscreen which allows the wind to go over my head with very little helmet buffeting. I really like this screen.
@@wingandhog Yes I don't like looking through them I have to look over at least a few inches.. I was looking at the long ride one that's pretty much like the OEM with the curve at the top which might be all I need but I'm entertaining this also. Do you have the 16-inch tallest one?
@@wingandhog Wow 8 inch that seems awfully thin I'll have to go to their site and look at their sizes what they offer some people on here have the 15-inch when they're 6 ft and they say that's perfect. Whatever works for you though. That's great
I order my normal shoe size and have yet to have a problem with fit. But Tecovas has a great return policy as long as the boot have no visible sign of wear. Try them on while on carpet or a rug.
Some changes happened with Tecovas company; not anymore sales on Amazon, instead first purchase 10% off they sand socks, not anymore printed care manual and returning slip... But Boots looks still Great, just ordered Banderas Bison leather Dark Chocolate Boots. Thank you for sharing boots unboxing.
Perfectly fine. So much so that I bought another one for camping trips I have planned this year. One will hold my fly fishing gear and other bits and pieces. The other will hold my camping gear. Zero issues. Highly recommend. Edit: Now that I think about it, I may do a follow up video and show how I pack both bags with that gear. Thanks for the reminder.
Hey thanks for watching and asking. The most recent cover I use was purchased from Amazon. Everytime I link to an external site, I get dinged by RU-vid for some idiotic reason, but this is the description that you can search by. “XYZCTEM Motorcycle Cover - All Season Waterproof Outdoor Protection - Precision Fit up to 108 Inch Tour Bikes, Choppers and Cruisers - Protect Against Dust, Debris, Rain and Weather”. (It’s a really nice cover) …….. Looks like there is a 50% off coupon. I may snag a spare myself. The Red and Black cover is this one: “NEVERLAND Motorcycle Cover Waterproof Outdoor, Motorbike Scooter Covers Heavy Duty Medium with Lock-Holes, Bandage, Storage Bag Compatible with Harley Davidson Kawasaki Yamaha Honda Grom (Up to 116”)”…… there is a 15% off coupon for that one.
If you could make it to Utah , I would highly recommend. One of the most beautiful places to ride. I am planning to go back in the spring. The Upper Colorado Scenic byway is spectacular. A lot of movies are filmed out there including the newest Jurassic Park

Ah yes, the first rule of demonstrating new tech: RTFM! 😁 Also, I think you meant to say the grip has a COLD shoe and not a hot one? Decent video though, well done.
