Sorry to hear. Ours worked in two homes for about 5 years or so with no issues other than the collars. Perhaps you have a bad sensor on the door. Wish you luck with High Tech Pet. A competitor would be a good thing forcing them to innovate.
This is great. Thanks for the idea! The only potential issue is that the inside where the zip ties are clipped might rub against the dog’s and be uncomfortable for the dog. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this issue?
My great grandfather was Alfred P Lowe. He was born in Green Turtle Cay in 1840. I would love to visit to see the island. My mother was the daughter of Chester C Lowe, Alfred’s son!
Thanks for watching Kirk. Did you miss the first link in the description that has the follow up. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OjYA3CagKEE.html
@@TheMatlacks when the dog sleeps or lays down it could rest its weight on the collar and possibly get hurt, maybe the sharp ends facing out? Or cutting really close so the sharp ends dont show. I dont know, just concerned anout the dog.
Do not buy this piece of garbage. I ran into it myself and still have a problem with this door. The control board and the engine have already been changed. Again it doesn't work and with winter coming I have a hole in my door after this miracle. In addition, I have to replace the batteries in the collars every three months. Just a sh.t made in the USA.
Our neighbors have the most barkingest dogs on earth! Never had this problem before they got them, my Mother is 92 years old, and I'm going on 65. My Mom and Dad have lived here since 1967, we never had this problem before this! It's is the most annoying noise on earth, in my opinion, I'm living with my Mother because, my Dad passed 3 years ago, and she needs help doing things, and I promised they would never have to go to a Nursing Home to live, and I really Love my parents, so I'll do whatever it takes to take care of, well Mom now, and I stayed with my Dad until he passed away also! Mom doesn't even want to go outside anymore, and being honest I don't either, but it really pisses me off that she doesn't, and when I go out I feel like putting my neighbors dogs DOWN EVERYTIME I DO GO OUT THERE ! I never felt that way, but I can't help it anymore, I'm so stressed out I just can't stand it anymore! So I'm going to try a couple of these things, and I pray to Jesus that they work!!! Going nutz out here, and I hope none of you have this problem! God bless you all !
THANK YOU!!! Omfg this was genius! I knew there had to be BETTER way! Now my girl dog can wear cute collars without that cheap masculine looking collar! Furthermore, my new puppy shredded his nice “high tech pet” collar in less than 24 hours! Yes, I partly to blame on it! 😏 Surely they can invest in better quality AND cuter collars for OUR high tech pets! We have made a life long invest with this door, so clearly we love our pets and want them to look cute too!!! Thanks again, this was SUPER helpful!!!
I was holding my breath and keeping my fingers and toes curled up just watchin’ this adventure 😆He was probably getting very toasty out there- great rescue guys 🙌
1:22 Wait, what? It _constantly_ makes a noise (ultrasonic i mean)?! My neighbours are horrible people who don't care _at all_ that their German Shepard is barking (including distressed yelp-barking) all day long and I want something like this but don't don't want the dog to suffer....
@@TheMatlacks Hhahaha yep, i figured it out after doin' some more research into all this stuff, thanks so much - Can't wait to try it! Hope you guys have no more barking troubles - it really messes with my head.
Ohh, apostilles!! That thing you don't know exists until you need it! When we adopted our son internationally, we needed that for documents that had to go overseas.
That's a great question. We understand that ours was slower than most, but apparently 3-4 months isn't unusual. 30 days is expected in the U.S. while sometimes 15 or 60 days do happen. It was lots of time with no communication. In two words: island time!
