A friend of ours bought a simpel extra pc, and a device to hook 4 controllers on to it so we could play steam couch games with the boys on the big tv screen. Too me that was the last string of hope consoles had for having any relevancy left.
"Hey Billy get that last bag!" "Aye sure thing mate... Bobby! The things bloody glowing blue! What's up wae that?" "I dunno mate, just throw it in the back with the rest of 'em."
I don't think the comparison to 3D printing firearm components is fair to the makers, or to himself. In most states it is legal to make firearms for personal use and you cam't just print it and go. You have to work the printed piece to make things operate smoothly. Likewise, what he made, and provided the plans for, is completely legal. You can legally obtain a scooter to use hos device on. Some people may choose to steal and that is not on him, just like a firearm manufacturer is not responsible for what criminals do with their products.
People actually did this. When cities started inpounding scooters because they were literally littering the streets) the companies didn't want to get them back because it was cheaper to just get a new one. So some clever girls and boys bought them for pennies when the scooter went on auction. Then they just got cheap motherboards from aliexpress and replaced the original one. And presto! You have a scooter for like a hundred dollars.
Honestly it has less to do with the cut of steak and more about how you prepare it. And this goes for basically all food, try to mimic something else or cook it in a way that doesn't suit the ingredient and ya it's most likely going to suck. Treat a cheap cut like an expensive cut and all you will be is disappointed.
Australian meat is extremely sought after overseas due to its quality, but there's a huge difference between grocery meat, butcher meat and local meat (where the farms are within 50km of buying). Store meat is fine, cheap enough to have for every dinner if you ration it properly, but it's tough and grizzly. Butcher meat is around 2-5x the cost of grocery meat but is great, consistent texture, rich flavor and so on. Naturally the best meat is locally culled and eaten soon after. Maybe it was just my family but everything seemed to be overcooked, in combination with cheap ingredients? Just gross, better off eating a salad
