How did these hold up? I'm debating if I should just buy these and if they will last a decent amount of time, or bite the bullet and get something more expensive like BC or bilsteins.
You can activate the water pump to empty the system fully with some kind of sequence procedure involving holding the gas pedal down for 10 seconds whilst putting the key in. Along those lines. Im sure there's guides if you Google it.
For those viewers that are experiencing fuel coming out of the DMTL fiber filter, check the fuel tank vent valve under the intake. This little turd of apart can cause some serious headaches, including only being able to fill up the car halfway with gasoline, throttle, and or stalling after filling up the tank, it can even cause some catalytic converter codes to be thrown along with DMTL voltage too high codes.
I'll try to actually add some info for those wondering. Wheels look to be style 286. A fairly rare wheel, at least they are here in the UK. Staggered 17", 8.5j rears, 8j front. Offsets - Fronts et34, rears et39. Nominal tyres.. Fronts - 225/45/R17 Rears - 255/40/R17 To conclude.. The spacers are just too big for the setup. At least if you're looking to have your car drive anything close to as BMW designed it to. There's no way you will not get rub with a 25mm spacer on the rears with an 8.5j, The choice here is unnecessary to say the least, I'd say total overkill and arguably dangerous if you've not put your hand deep into your pocket for some very high end spacers. With these wheel and tyre sizes, you'd want to go with 20mm on the rear and 15mm on the fronts AT MOST. 15mm rears and 10mm fronts would be just fine. Do your homework people.
I watched this video specifically to know what part the hood closes on, because that’s what I need to replace. And now I know that it’s called the radiator support bracket Lol.
Ugh I just got a p1449 code, and mines the n51 model (sulev edition), so I’m hoping it’s not anything to deal with what’s inside the tank, but if it’s just that, and that easy to fix then I’d be thankful.
I have a code p1449, diagnostic module tank leakage pump current too high,, so I looked at the fuel pump on the left side driver side pulled it down and started the car I held the motor to the canister and I don't feel any vibration no humming sound shouldn't there be one? I'm thinking maybe the motor went bad the one attached to the canister? No smell of gas, but this code comes up with a check engine light when I step on the gas hard. Then I'll get an engine failure warning reduced power but the car runs fine! I have a 2009 BMW 335i coupe, any help would be appreciated thank you!!
Sick car, beautiful girlfriend, hope you 2 are still together and continuing to make sacrifices to keep your relationship strong and exciting. I agree with the plates being ugly. Nevada is the same, tho they recently came out with raiders ones that are black w/ white lettering. Problem is, it has a raiders logo on it.
I just bought these headlights and waiting for them to come in. I read reviews and all I've heard bad is that some people have gotten condensation in their lights.
