Comics, Star Wars, Pop Culture, Video games, and Toys. I love it all; and my collection of video content celebrates them all. I try to provide useful information to the comic collecting community to help you on your own hunting trips.
Lists and Apps are useful, but can be impractical at times when digging among a crowd squeezed between boxes and boxes of books. The best tools you have are your own eyes and your memory. So let me help you expand your mental Rolodex and give you tips on things to look out for when you are out there digging and have to make decisions on the fly. That digger next to you is not gonna wait for your internet connection, so better to expand your own personal knowledge base.
@@Dr_Paul_Proteus fair enough. I may have overstated at 3 as I didn't give it much thought beyond Carlin and Eddie Murphy being too 2 for me without a doubt
I'm not sure who has the rights, but I would love a reboot comic series...as long as it isn't Dynamite looking for an excuse to sell 25 variants each month.😉 haha
I enjoy your content but I felt I was living in another reality when you guys talked about the Acolyte as if it was watchable - awful awful stuff ps i enjoyed all the other shows just this one was as bad as the Ewok tv movies
The Acolyte show for me had lots of unanswered questions and for the most part it didn’t make sense. If another season comes out, that would give more RU-vid content creators opportunities to pick apart each episodes and expose the laughable nonsense decision making from the director.
Sorry about the ads but I don't really control what youtube shows. I can only tell you that the ads are how we can keep the lights on and keep the channel going. I do know that RU-vid offers a premium membership that removes most ads from all videos if you wanted to look into it.
@@Rennavision I don't fault you. I understand. I might be exaggerating, but it seemed like there were four separate interruptions within 10 minutes. Redacted that I follow has a lot of commercials but don't compare. From what I did see of your video, I did like it.
@@phillips1556 That's what's important to me. That you liked the content. Outside of the CBSI Hot 10 check out a bunch of other shows I have done and continue to do, as I hope you might enjoy those as well. Hopefully not too many interruptions 😉🍻
Wow NONE of you guys liked Blood Hunt 5?!?! Must not be Doom fans, huh? Any win for Doom is a win in my book. He’s DOOM, that’s what he does: pounces on opportunities for Doom! Who do you think taught Edge to be the “ultimate opportunist”? DOOM! Wow 😯. Pretty shocked fellas, pret-ty shocked.
I love Doom, and I have no issues where this ended up. But I feel like they mislead me thinking this was a vampire story and they rushed the end to just get us to where we got with Doom. They could have still had this feel meaningful for Blade and his cadre of supporting characters, rather than they were just a mechanism to get us to Doom's next event. That's all. I thought this was an event, not just a lead in to another event. Know what I am saying. 🍻
Stupid question.. Is a 1:25, 1 out of 25 copies. You might order 10 and get lucky? Or You have to order 25 to get one.. so they might actually be 1 out of 1000 because nobody ordered 25 copies?
@@TheDwighteagle there are no stupid questions. The way incentives typically work is that stores need to order the required min to be able to order 1 copy of the incentive. So if a shop ordered 25 copies of a comic, they could order 1 copy of a 1:25. If that same book also had a 1:10 incentive option, that same order would also qualify the shop to order 2 copies of the 1:10 along with the one 1:25 since they met those min order marks. Does that make sense? 🍻
@@TheDwighteagle additionally what makes it tricky is that while we may have an estimate or a sense of how many copies were ordered, we don't know how many were printed. So if orders were low and estimates might put a 1:25 at maybe 500 copies, that doesn't mean only 500 were printed. The printersy have still printed 2000 or some other amount to account for damages and based on expected sales that never happened. Those "extras" in the past day in warehouses and eventually found their way out to the public in overstock sales thru Diamond or bulk sold to 5 and Below and Walmart comic packs etc. So there is no clear answer as to how many copies there could be.
Great show as usual! Excited to pick up the Camacho book and hyde steer ashcan! Also, I think there are four variants for the G I Joe ashcan. I can’t swing the mars or cobra variants but Skybound has a storm shadow variant on there site for 25 and the Joe variant I got for 25 as well.
Superpets was a great movie and the comic that came out was great too. My kids loved both. I’m surprised more of the movie and comic haven’t come out. I guess this is a continuation but it looks different. Still, I’ll probably buy one for my kids.
@@egbertocruz2571 eBay keeps a running 3 month sales history by doing your search and clicking "sold". But eBay also has a feature called terapeak that shows not only older sales but accepted best offers. It can be tricky to navigate how you do your searches, but the info is available to everyone which is why I make my lists as transparent as possible with the data I provide as you can check it yourself.
@@egbertocruz2571 I know you may not like it because it's advertising but if people use it, it does actually help the channel. Its not free to provide high quality content on RU-vid unfortunately. And not everyone on Whatnot is sleazy. I agree there are many unsavory characters, but it's not everyone. And that's no different than eBay, Amazon, or any online marketplace. Bad apples on every platform. But it's free $ for people to try it and they can shop with anyone they like. It's not restricted to comics. If you know a better way for me to get folks to consider using that link without telling them, I'm all ears. 🍻
I really appreciate that. I am a collector first, just like everyone else so I just tell it how I see it. I know no everyone will agree but I am speaking from a collectors POV, whereas many others may be more on the retail side of things.
