My father told me that the music I liked was "Barber wire" music. It wasn't heavy or anything, but to his poor Country music taste brain, it was noisy. It seems like it all has gone in circle and a big part of today's youth don't like music that is loud or intense. Is it the "auto tune" sicknes that has ruined young people's taste and perspective? Is it slick and unoffensive pop music that has taken away new generation's ability to enjoy powerfull and l emotional music? I feel a bit sorry for them, unless they are willing to work on extending their range of taste into new teritory. "I don't really understand and get into this type of music, but I want to, because I think it will be very rewarding" is a good leading attitude to have about music. Personally this worked for me about jazz, heavy metal, Hip hop and many genres I didn't "like". I hope you will open your ears and mind to music like Gåte's. They have so much really good music to enjoy, Much of it isn't that screamy, but it very good.
Happy with Germany. Happy with Switzerland. Israel didn’t desserve that much. But kinda happy they did. Shows europe ain’t only about hating. It’s a show. And I just personally hate when people are like srsly hating and being mean. Even though people got different opinions👀🙌 Ukraine was my fav though!🇺🇦 loved Croatia too
Baby Lasagna absolutely deserved to win this year! He put on an 11/10 performance with improved vocals, staging, cats, animals, smoke and fire! That televote result which probably would have been higher if Israel weren't participating for political reasons, should have been given a few more 12s by the jury! I think if you research the meaning of the song and how the song came about with BL writing the song himself, you'll see why people like it! BL makes sense as a name sine he is like Garfiel with the cats! Croatia almost got their first win!!!
Luke, I always got PED eliminated shortly after the contest thanks to the final exam schedule from my university in 2022 and 2023, and it's expected to be the same in 2024. The final exams are typically scheduled in the 2 weeks just after the contest, with my first final in 2023 being just two days after that year's contest. This means I am forced to get back into studying for the final exams once the contest ends.

Emotions were very high this season on all sides and I'm doubtful it will change by next season. @YoavMatari, Luke has been very reasonable in his responses/reactions. Personally, I did give my ROTW votes to Israel a large part in response to what I noticed other RU-vidrs doing. Yes, they did use ignoring for their own agendas. Although I'm sure difficult, Luke stayed above the fray. ❤. It's a good thing we can only vote "for" a song in Eurovision.

No I didn’t put them through. It was a prediction; so with the evidence at hand (a plethora of booing and controversy) I didn’t think they’d amass enough votes. Thats all. No hate, just a prediction. I got 9/10 so I think I understand music. Do you understand manners?
I love Mama Trish's contribution. It's great to get the opinion of someone outside the Eurovision bubble. Also, I'm biased as Estonia is also my #1 and I love Germany.
Her reaction to Estonia is actually fitting because it is about police profiling poor people for using drugs that only rich people can afford. Pulluup are the police and 5 Miinust are the accused. And ai do get where she was coming from with the UK but the performance was quite controversial and wasn’t family-friendly at all and there were some shocking parts to it and it was quite sexual but I liked it because it was risky and unique. It was unique and artsy and I loved it and he did amazingly with it. Taking it like a champ with that 0 points is great. I also thought his fan base would give him love but U guess they didn’t. He deserved way better. I really think he should return in the future with a stronger entry cause he could really get top 10 but sadly this wasn’t the year. I hope this doesn’t make the UK go back into their old ways because they really tried all they could this year to elevate the song but it just didn’t work out.
Second year, the same story, the judges determine the winner by thwarting the second place, this is what they did to Finland last year and now to Croatia, it makes sense to you that the winner Switzerland was not in the top 3 of the audience, why do millions of voters equal their voice to 5 corrupt judges who change the real result
I have to laugh as a Norwegian, I didn't like them either and I said from the start we would make a huge mistake by sending them (borderline Q and right side if they Q'd...) Guess who ended up being right about that, despite Norwegians going around saying we would win xD Super happy for Nemo and Switzerland. One of my fav winners in many, many years!
