Damn...In my head I was like "wow crazy she sends from that crazy position she got herself in"...didn't send...but still great fight and way to go for it. Great (sandbagged) route!
This is a tough route - I've climbed a number of 10d-11b's in the Red, and Oompa (granted, at the end of a hard day) really kicked my butt. It's a lot more overhung than it looks!
They were the 2” wide, 6” long two prong ones. They came in the pack of pegboard accessories I got off Amazon. Something like this www.amazon.ca/Pegboard-Accessories-Organizer-Assortment-Hanging/dp/B09HXMK687 pictured in the middle right side of the first photo
@@CourtneyWarren Holy cow, thank you for such a quick response! I started uploading videos a few years ago but recently started uploading consistently. From content creator to content creator, thank you times a million <3
@@CourtneyWarren I've been climbing for around 3 months, i started off with the La Sportiva Tarantulas and bought Skwama's last weekend. I love the shoe but i dont think my feet were ready for such an aggressive shoe 😄
Didn't watch the review, but had it in 50m and used it a ton. I had a small hickup in the beginning, where it randomly got some scuffs pretty early that were probably caused by some edges on the rock. I thought the durability was bad, but then used it intensively for another year (I would say twice a week on average) or so inside and outside. Cut the ends several times and it's now down to 30 something metres and barely long enough for the gym and my home crag. Still going strong and nice to handle. Would definitely buy again!
Nice climb poo tips is a bit hard for the grade in my opinion not sure how y'all found it. Looks like you had tons of fun anyways great sends and camera work.
Thanks for watching!! 💕 you should come check it out, I’d be happy to guide you around! plenty of slimy limestone footholds, the gorgeous Niagara river, and some awesome boulders (even an Alex Megos FA)
@@ThreePeakFilms I absolutely love the Fall for climbing in the Niagara Glen. It can be climbed all year (including the Winter) but the Summer can be crowded, humid, and buggy, so I usually make my trips there in the Fall and Spring
As always I enjoy your artistic perspective! Wonderfully shot and edited! I enjoyed the slant, match, tension move to the bump to heel lock on poo tips! Great content! Keep em coming!! Also.. Jay Bouldering?!!?! lol "buncha poop in there" heheheh
Not at all! Don't tell him but I honestly think you're way stronger and have some serious contact strength. These were flash attempts so beta is likely to be a bit off, especially when you're getting near your max flash grade. You kicked butt!!
What kind of bolts did you hammer into the frame and stand? I’m at this step in my build and I’m unsure if I should use construction screws or a hearty bolt like you got there. I just don’t know what it’s called
Hey! They’re called carriage bolts. I used them because they can hold a ton of weight and it makes it easier to lift the frame and adjust the angle of the wall. Hope this helps!
YUUUSSSSS This video is awesome Courtney, loved this one!! First of all, I LOVED your footwork and maneuvering with your leg brace in one of the first clips! You're a bad*ss. The transition from me to Val on "I'd rather be at White Bluffs" was so smooth!!! That was solid. Scene transitions were awesome, chill music and, so glad, to see your awesome face in video again! 🙏
It was such a gorgeous day to spend outside doing something you love! The knee has been good, and the injury turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Gave me the time I needed to reset and get back to a better headspace! Thank you for watching 😊
