That is discusting. They put a Chevrolet engine in a Ford. Get that engine out oof it and put a Ford engine in it. Realy it should be an original 39 Ford engine, bit if you can't find that at least get a more modern day Ford 351 V8 engine.

The 39 imo is a better looking car than a 32 and it's as much of a hot rod as a 32..Sadly to compare a 39 coupe to a VW the guy has rocks in his head...
Beautiful 39 Ford coupe. I love them stock with that shining finish. My dream car: 51 Mercury with dual exhaust. That rumbling exhaust and burbling sound when slowing down. My Mercury had the deep green finish with a shine so super everyone looked and wondered. It was just spit and shine. BTW. I’ m from Greenville, SC.
Great video. I live in Statesville. I just bought a KLR 650 08 model. My friend and I want to go up and do those 2 or 3 sections in about 3 weeks. Enjoyed seeing the older KLR perform as well as it did. We hope to do the full BDR in the future. Check out roadrunner magazine. It has a good 4 day ride around NC and TN. Stay safe and happy trails.
Cam sounds solid 👌 also sounds like it would like a little more timing. I wouldn't get hung up on a should-be timing number the dynamics of every engine is different and people tend to get hung on static numbers
I thought the music was great. To each their own. I would not have wanted to listen to your engine the whole time. Your wrenching skills are impressive. What time you year was this?
that small thing probably saved my butt i do a lot of rust repair work im a good one for doing that well was ty i never give it a thought but i knew better
Looks like you guys had a good time...Hope you get to finish....I'm planing on doing it in May with some mates, We are on a Honda xr400r and Yamaha, WR250r. and plan to camp most of the way....NC guys here aa well....Safe riding.....Keep on Keep on.....;-)

The trick is to use a sawyer squeeze with 1L smartwater or similar with the same width bottle. 1.2 oz and super cheap. If you get a tiny male-male connector for it, you can also use it to backflush your sawyer without bringing out the gigantic syringe.
