This was an emotional and funny scene too tho cuz Forest was like JENNYYY!!!!! Lol but this was one of if not Tom Hanks best and one of my favorites all time!!!!!!
I remember when I saw Tom Hanks speaking before the Obama inauguration on that very same spot - I was so desperately hoping somebody would yell "FOR-REST!" and run toward him through the reflecting pool. I might have done it myself, but I knew I'd get arrested. Plus, it was freezing at the time.
Stupid is as stupid does. WTF is he saying this stupid. He thinks if the world gets hotter there won’t be death. GOD some people are born stupid, or moron. GOD save us from these stupid people who live the same earth that they are trying to destroy, and don’t care about it.
Forest Gump had it right, Stupid is as stupid does. You can have an IQ of 170, but that doesn't mean you're incapable of doing stupid or dare I say immoral things. Intelligence or common sense isn't necessarily measured by brain patterns. It's done so by the size of your common sense and your humanity. Some people take some much-needed wisdom from that.
If a photographer got that scene on film, it would compare to the [V-J Day in Time Square.] I once saw that photo in a Life photo exhibition in my City museum. It was very awing.
I am from Mexico and really love this movie...I travel a lot for my job, yesterday 08/11/2022.. I was in exactly this place and did the same as forest...i looked to the left side and yelled --- Jenny ... always wanted to do it since I watched the movie!!!
