Nope! I just used false tones for anything under low E. It is not too bad when I can just punch in a false tone C, but a bass trombone would sound better.
Lyrics are always different from the original sheet music. But why do barbershop singers sing to "Mrs Olson" instead of "Mister Moto" which has alliteration?
I love the way John Allred sounds. He's right up there with Bill Watrous but with his own style. Really has perfect understanding of how to improvise on the trombone.
