@@bamabama339 When did I criticise the religion ? Do you know Invoking Agni devata is done during the Yagna. There are many ways to start a ritual fire (Agni), one of them is shown here is called an “Aarani”, the Rig Veda says “here is the gear for friction, here is the tinder, made ready for the spark”. It doesn’t say this the only method to generate a spark for a Yagna. So it is nothing but an ancient match box. Fire was also started using a pair of fire stones, or a magnifying glass. The point is that ancient methods to generate agni are very inefficient. You think an ancient matchbox like the Aarani is religion ? Tomorrow you will say the matchbox or lighter are religious objects. And how do you know what religion I belong to.

Thats for some yagnam.....it has to be done traditionally in that way the tradition of how fire was used to create will be preserved and also that fire making process is purified by vedic chants and scantity of the process must be preserved coz we use vedic chants of agni i.e praising and thanking lord agni who is the backbone to our lives
