Hey, glad you did this and glad you shared it. I think your grandfather has fond memories of this truck that he can now relive again. One thing I would like to say as a viewer to keep in mind if you ever make another video like this is that the music during the emotional moments was a bit distracting, at least for me. A nitpicky thing though, much respect to you and your family for doing this for you grandfather and I wish you and your family well. Regards,
Well, you managed to make me cry... wow what a precious gift you have given him... Your father did a good job raising you and you did the same raising a good kid. Full circle!
I just saw the truck story on the news and I too, cried like your grandpa! I get it-the memories attached to his truck. You are an awesome grandson with a sensitive heart and soul. Wish there were more like you-selfless!
That’s so special to him and y’all are some amazing people to have as a family to do something so nice for your grandfather! Absolutely love this! This is what the American dream is about.

Twenty one years ago my husband sold a 1969 Chevy Custom pickup truck that he owned. It was orange and white and had monster mud tires and a lift kit. A sweet looking ride. A few weeks ago, I spotted an old truck in town for a classic car show. Took a picture of it and sent it to him. He remarked that it looked like the one he used to own. Long story short, he came up to look at it and talked to the owner. It WAS the exact same truck he used to own!!! The owner lives just outside of our town. DE JAVU!! Our girls needed a step ladder to climb up in it when we had it. They're in their early 30's now. 😅
Growing up on our farm we had a 1960 or 61 (forget the year) International Travel All which was our regular car a '68 Jeep J6000 work truck and a 1958 Massey Ferguson T35. As a kid I rode a long way in the back of that jeep or standing on the PTO of the tractor. They're all gone, almost certainly scrapped for parts, sure be nice to see them again. As some folks wrote below there's a lot of memories tied up in them, some you forgot you had till you see it up close again. I'm willing to bet the more he saw it and drove it the more the memories came rushing back.
You know my dad had a truck and he passed away before I could ever meet him. He wrote in a notebook (not anything legal or notarized) that everything he owned he wanted it to go to me his only child. My mom tried to get the truck back but the towing place sold it before she could. Fast forward 20 years later and turns out my dad’s brother has had the truck the whole time and never plans on giving it to me but giving it to his sons who are going to sell it…. I have nothing not even a memory of my dad and they took that last thing that was his. So good to see some things work out and happiness from this video ❤
