Hey 😀 thanks for watching. I am using Zed. For nix completion I use nixd as the language server. Zed is also when it comes to AI features. At the moment you have built in Claude Sonnet for free. Please check out zed.dev/ for the editor and github.com/nix-community/nixd for the lsp
Thank you for your time and effort in making this tutorial. I hope to be able to learn about using this platform to create automations for my digital marketing agency
Great series! I am using NixVim for my NVIM config. The best part is I can use my config as a Flake on every Nix(OS) Machine. All our Servers run NixOS by now :)
I am able to ssh into the remote machine with my sshkey but when running the nixos switch command with remotehost I get error lacks signature by a trusted key : error writing to file: broken pipe
Did you add your user to the trusted users and rebuild the system again on the VM? Please have a look here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OFGyKMSJzXY.html
@@m3tam3re No, I was trying it remote rebuild-switch from my desktop to my laptop that already had a user with the same name in home manager set up. I'm trying it again with it added, thanks!
This comes at a perfect moment, I'm also doing multi system config and want to get hyprland up and running. I've only been able to launch it from a terminal so far.
Thank you for the video. Would really like to start this journey with you by learning your story from the beginning, how and with what products/services you got started selling? Thank you
Hello 🙂 Thank you for the feedback. I can make videos with some backstory from time to time to give more insights 🙂 Maybe some shorts could also be an idea.
Hey 🙂 There are some self-hosting videos on the channel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n2Y8XbJd1RE.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7I5GlV47MTM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IfHMW6GWpKg.html If you are interested into a particular topic just let me know and I will have a look into it.
Does not work. Even after doing the exact same steps, my shopify commands do not get recognized. Shopify is so absolutely ridicolous when it comes to keeping their stuff working. They literally update so god damn frequently and break things that it's absolutely stupid to work with their tools (CLI included).
That's true. Shopify is not very good at this. Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this.. Usually the shopify command should be available when you install it globally. Did you install with the "-g" flag on the npm install command?
Sorry for my late reply. At the moment you cannot upload product videos via flat file. There is an extra are in sellercentral to manage videos, but it it lacks functionality and makes things very inconvenient.
You can find your Shopify subdomain in the domain settings of your store. Besides your custom domain there should be an entry for some-subdomain.myshopify.com
I've tried several installs via Portainer, but everytime I get this message after I sign-up in n8n. I've set the volumes the same way. Any advice? Error: "Init Problem There was a problem loading init data: Unauthorized"
There is a pull request as some people seem to have this or similar problems. The pull request also links forum posts with possible solutions. As the pull request is already merged there is a good chance to fix the problem by pulling the latest version (1.35.0) More details here: github.com/n8n-io/n8n/pull/8906
Can you create a video on automating marketing processes, including scheduling social media posts and a chatbot to handle comments on all platforms using n8n?
There are different approaches. You can also use alternatives to Caddy like Traefik or use Nginx. If you do not want to use a reverse proxy at all you could just call your server on it's ip address + the port (5678 for n8n / 9000 for portainer) . As caddy also handles SSL certificates to make the connection secure you would need to handle the certificates manually.
Congrats!, but in terms of connect baserow to some external platform, like Wordpress ou even Facebook, its necessary create a subtable or conect a table with a row?
I am sorry, this answer might be a bit long 😇 You can choose to store all your data in a single table within Baserow. This approach can provide a straightforward way to manage your data. By creating different views within the table, you can customize the data displayed for WordPress and Facebook. A flat structure is easy to manage in Baserow and can also be handled efficiently in automation tools like n8n. The downside is that Baserow sends complete rows to a webhook which results in sending unnecessary information. With more tables that are connected you can structure your data in a more granular way and onl send relevant data. The downside here is that the structure for lookup fields etc. based on connected tables is more complex in it's structure. I usually prefer to have a good structure in Baserow, because my team should be able to work efficientl in Baserow. If things get more complicated under the hood when automating it does not bother me too much, because that's usually done once.
I made a quick adaption of the basic example from the official docker-mautic repo on github for portainer. Please check: code.m3tam3re.com/m3tam3re/mautic-v5-portainer
@@m3tam3reDo you have a fix? I get this error when setting up the database "An error occurred while attempting to install the data: An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[42S01]: Base table or view already exists: 1050 Table 'messenger_messages' already exists"
Hello there, thank you very much for bringing this information! I understand nearly nothing about all of the prompting but I know it is what I'm looking for. I'll dive into your tutorials. I'm just starting out my business, my Shopify store and I will structure its automation/marketing needs just like that. I hope your channel goes really strong and fast as you do not deserve less. By now as a total beginner I'll only have stupid questions to ask: I'm beginning with nearly no budget so I wonder if a free web host can handle a structure like that. The provider Web Host Most is looking like a fantastic and robust new free option but their free plan offers only 125 Mb of disk space. is it enough to install this Ubuntu server + the other applications (n8n, Mautic, etc)? And if not, what is the least specs of servers that I should look for? Thanks!
Hello 🙂 Thank you very much. I am glad I can help you with my tutorials to get you started. Regarding your question about web hosting the 125 MB free hosting plan will not be sufficient to run applications like n8n and mautic. Just the Mautic installation will exceed the 125 MB. My recommendation is a VPS server with at least 2 cores ,4 GB of RAM and 30GB of storageto get started. Unfortunately this will will require at least some budget. Depending on the provider a VPS like this will probably be between 5 and 10 $ per month. Some providers offer free credit for up to 90 days which can help you to get started for free. What you also might want to consider is that getting better at automating tasks will help you to run your business more efficient and cost effective which will make the investment into a VPS worth it.
Thank you very much man, I really appreciate it. That was definitely a dumb question of mine but your answer is very clarifying. I'll be tuned to your channel and hoping you get your success here in RU-vid. Good luck! @@m3tam3re
Glad I could. Just drop a comment if you have more questions. Every had to start at the beginning, so there are no dumb questions. Just keep on learning and trying things out 🙂
Thanks again I'd actually have a less dumb question this time, hehe: how hard/easy it is to change the server if needed? I mean, in terms of migration of data (Mautic, n8n) are they easy to pack up a backup and throw in a new server?@@m3tam3re
Love your content. Keep it up. It would be nice to see how you manage your customer data. Do you have a central database like Baserow or rely on Shopify?
Thanks 🙂 The short answer is yes. I use Baserow for storing data from various platforms, also customer data from Shopify. I will upload a video today on how to get UTM campaign data from Shopify and store it in Baserow. The workflow I explain can be easily adapted to get customers from Shopify to Baserow Actually I am a big fan of autonomy and responsibility when it comes to data. Data becomes much more useful when you do not keep things in silos like Shopify. Baserow + n8n are a really powerful combination to get, transform and enrich data. When you use self hosted alternatives like Mautic for E-Mails and Matomo for analytics and other solutions you can pull things together to get more insights.
