Sorry about that, don't sew close to the cord at the beginning. Sew away from the cord at the beginning before moving close to the cord as you sew downward. That looseness will allow the turning without stress.
It was well explained, and I perfectly understand. However, the video is too long. I feel you should have done some things off camera. Especially after showing us a process, then you complete the rest off camera.
