I have noticed something that multiple trainers including the (freeslots) one on your list says regarding AK unsuited. In double bonus strategy charts say never hold AK unsuited, however the trainers tell you to hold it if both the A and K have a flush penalty or if just the Ace has a flush penalty card. The other 3 cards are low cards

I like your content, thank you! Would you consider doing a video that would talk about variance AND commonly found pay tables all wrapped up in one. What is the best game based on these factors?

Appreciate your comment and question. I have already done a video going through the variance of each standard VP variant here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oIJxkdq7LVs.html I have also done a couple of videos going over common pay tables for Bonus Poker and Deuces Wild. I will have to figure out the best way to present your video request without making it too long. Personally, I think 9/6 Jacks or Better is the best choice; low volatility and high payback percentage compared to others that you are likely to find.

NICE VIDEO MIKE, i agree with many of your pet peeves also. my new 1, just returned from the Orleans in VEGAS and it was so dead on a Tuesday nite that the bartender wanted to engage in a political discussion. I'm from CA and that also set him off IMO. that really kind of ruined my VP session. the next nite i avoided that bar and had great success at the masquerade bar with my VP session along with getting served great drinks by 2 generous and friendly bartenders. i tipped accordingly.😄😄😄

Thanks for the video. My takeaway: (slightly tongue in cheek, but I like what you're doing here) Don't give unsolicited advice [#4] to the button slappers [#2] (because they probably won't take it anyway,) PLUS they are probably doing their part to help scare off the LURKERS! (stalkers?...) [#5]...

I've been getting more used to playing double bonus strategy. I live in WI where the pay tables aren't great unless you choose $1 denom. The best I've seen lately is 8/5 Job, and bonus poker is usually crappy (like 7/5 or 6/5). Double bonus though last I played it was 9/6 (94% rtp I think) and I seemed to last a bit. Is it better to play double bonus over JoB in these situations? This is on 25c denom.

What about having the casino cash a check or getting a line of credit with the casino?
@ClubMikeV
@ClubMikeV 11 дней назад
Personally not a fan of going into debt to gamble, so no line of credit. I’d rather cash a check at my bank than at the casino, as my budget will be much lower than the typical amount of a check; I don’t want to bring more than I plan on gambling with. For high rollers who don’t want to hold tens of thousands in cash, I think you can wire the funds to the casino cage before your trip. Ask the casino first if they offer this service.

My best take-away from this video is to place your bets/raises with one motion or declare them at the poker table. Sometimes it's good to be reminded of things you already know, but it makes you think about the reasons for them and it can be helpful to those who don't know. The reasons for this rule are multiple, but chief among them are to move the game along efficiently, as well as to prevent players from trying to gauge their opponents reaction to placing a smaller amount out there, reducing their personal risk, but then pushing more in when they see it's likely to buy them the pot. It's also important not to act out of turn. Folding out of turn can affect another player's ability to raise effectively or to attract other raises with a winning hand, for example. Also, shuffling chips is par for the course at the poker table, put separating chips out as though intending to raise with those chips before it is one's turn is a breach of etiquette that you may get called out on, and may induce other players to fold who would not have otherwise folded. This can affect other players outcomes, not just one's own. It's permissible to stack chips to one side in anticipation of your bet when it is your turn. To you use your example of raising 10 to 30, you could place 10 to one side and gauge other players reactions, then add more to that side stack before pushing in your bet, and once again gauge other players reactions, but you could easily be read as bluffing. If you've got the nuts and you WANT to be read as bluffing, that might be an effective move, but now we are getting into strategy and not etiquette. Have fun and Gamble responsibly...

Rule #3: Read/Understand the rules for the game. Very important for all the reasons Mike mentioned. A word about playing Max Coins on Video Poker and Slots. Most bonus payouts are keyed to playing Max Coins. This includes receiving full payment for a royal flush on video poker, (the only way to realize the full percentile of the pay table) as well as receiving full payout for top jackpots on slots. If your budget will not allow you to play Max Coins, consider moving to a lower denomination machine of the same game, once again compare pay tables on video poker and make an informed decision. You're not just playing for Royals. Another "Back in the Day" story: Once upon a time we were checking into a major Hotel /Casino on the Las Vegas Strip at their check-in kiosk just inside the parking entrance. (This was a high traffic area and often casinos will put their most profitable machines there to encourage players coming and going to spend money in the casino when they see people winning on their way in the door. ) We weren't really paying attention to the woman who had walked up to the "Red White and Blue 7's" machine (dime slot machine with a max payout of $10,000. Not 10,000 dimes, 100,000 dimes!) (Worth about $25,000 in today's currency) She had played 3 or 4 pulls on the machine as we were stepping away from the kiosk, when all of a sudden the machine lit up with the jackpot alarms and all the bells and whistles that go therewith. This very lucky (unlucky) woman had just hit the top jackpot: (RED 7, WHITE 7, BLUE 7 in order) She would have won $10,000 if she had played the max bet of 10 coins, but she had only played 4 coins, so her winnings were less than $200! We were standing there as the casino management were explaining to her why she had not won $10,000. The sad part about it was that she was holding a large casino coin cup full of Dimes. (not from the jackpot payout, the house has to pay all jackpots, just what she walked up to the machine with) She could have easily played Max coins if she had just read and understood the rules. Have fun and gamble responsibly!

Rule #1: Budget... If you happen to catch a winning streak or a big win on a machine as a recreational gambler, decide at that time how much of that you are going to take home with you and don't bet any of that amount but just revert to your original budget, and take the windfall home except for whatever percentile you decide to Parlay. In case of a windfall, best to decide to take most of that home but parlay a small amount. On one trip to Vegas back in the day, I made enough on video poker before I even got checked into my room to finance my entire trip's gambling stake. Therefore the money that I had brought with me to gamble with never got touched. When I brought that money home with me plus other winnings, needless to say it was a winning trip! I could have on the other hand got all excited and gambled it all away, which I do not advise. Hence my two cents here... Have fun and gamble responsibly....

Slot machines are never "Due". Every spin has the same mathematical odds. There are variations and extremes when it comes to the law of averages.
@jw8927
@jw8927 16 дней назад
No slot machine is " due to hit" most ridiculous statement. All random luck. The only ones that are the Ainsworth must hit by slots, and these are being removed from many slot floors. Do not fall victim to these pots that are full or pigs that are looking to pop. These are all to fool you into thinking you have a chance to win and are just visual phycology mind tricks.
@OverRoyaledUnderMajored
@OverRoyaledUnderMajored 16 дней назад
I enjoy puffing up the pigs, filling the pots, enlarging the coins, expanding the bags, etc perceived persistence etc. I also like to leave my “royal failures” on each VP game I play. It gives me a goal to strive for regardless of winning or losing. And it could give the next player some hope that something is due. I have to remind myself not to chase that too lol! Bottom line: No bonus=no fun. No 4 of a kinds=no fun. No fun=money lost. Get up if you aren’t having fun and go find fun over there…or go home. Accept the loss. Win another day. I chase video poker way more than slots…I’m playing more slots than VP now and losing less. They are both a lesson in futility, fun and money management.
