This channel will feature videos of my sewing pattern and other craft project I want to share. I hope you will enjoy watching my videos and that they will inspire you to create.
This looks like a very simple pouch to assemble. I have never really attached the zipper pull back on real successfully but I now have a zipper jig. I am looking forward to making this pouch. That is a beautiful fabric choice, did you purchase that recently?
I think that the o-ring I'm using in the video is 1.5", but a 1" key ring can be also used. Sorry I can't exactly remember; it's been so time. I'm 100% confident that anything between 1.5" - 0.75" would work just fine.
@@justynathandmade thank you so much, I ordered the 1.5 inch size. I will make some air tag holders for my husband and my 2 sons. I will try to make a pattern for my Smart tag 2 since I'm a Samsung user 😄
Hi Justyna, are the overlays cut from quilting cotton or from vinyl ? Also is a template of the overlays included with the pattern ? Thank you. It's a very pretty and cute wristlet.
I got it from amazon, but the roll is no longer available. They have it on the sheet set, it should be enough for the overlays, but would needed to be pieced together for the strap overlay. Here is the link - www.amazon.com/Funcolor-Pattern-Synthetic-Assorted-Earrings/dp/B08ZKRTZFL?ref_=ast_sto_dp
This version was supposed to be a keychain option. But I think an elastic can be added. You can sew one end to the bottom, like in the vinyl version. The upper end could be sewn in to the back, I would fold the elastic over to hide the raw edge.
Cute addition to an outfit. I modified bc I use leather ... by making the inside clasp into a clutch handle and I placed a magnetic clasp in the middle of the top opening. Turned out cute! TY Justyna!
I did it! All thanks to you!!! It came out perfect the very first time! I did enlarge it 2 inches on each side and now I am hooked on this pattern, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They should be posted in the description of the video. That’s always the case with all free patterns. There will be a cut list or a link to a pattern file if that’s needed. You need to extend the description box under the video. It’s usually hidden.
I have been looking for a good way to make a pencil case for my grand daughter and this one is INDEED the best design I have seen. Your instructions are so much easier to understand. I might make one for her crayons and 1 for her markers. Thankyou sooooo much
I really love all your designs, and how well instructive you are in teaching us. Quick question, can you do this in a bigger style boxy bag? Your way seems so much better and makes sense.
Thank you! Yes, I did a video a while back using this method for a bigger boxy bag, it has two way of boxing the corners. Check it out Free Pattern | Boxy Bag 2 Ways | Sewing Tutorial | JustynaTHandMade ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IT-Nj9g1LXM.html
I could not find any waterproof canvas in Italy, and the ones I found on amazon have awful colors, so what I did was use cotton fabric, and brushed over it a vinyl type glue like helmer's glue but an italian brand, it dries clear, and stiffens the fabric and slightly shiny, and water resistant, don't know if it will last will see in the future. (gotta think of everything :-)
Wow! I love this! I’ve been wanting to make a project pouch with a window so I can find things easier! The French seams are a great touch and the cube design will neatly stand on a bookshelf! Wonderful! ❤
I just check and I don't see any pending request. Can you provide your full name as on FB and I can check if you are a member. Or try again and I will make sure to approve.
Me again LOL I made this pouch, I had the vinyl and rainbow zipper tape, did not have the canvas but I had a nice pastel pink a bit heavy felt, it came out really cute, only thing I must of screwed up something (as usual 🤣) my corners came out inside out, they have triangles on the side, I still like them though, they look cute. I had to make some zipper tabs with the felt because I did not have the metal zipper ends. Love your tutorials, keep them coming, ciao from Italy
Hi, Italy here, I love your work especially because most of your pouches are 2 tone that I love so much. Great instructions, clear and easy to understand. A ciao from Rome, by the way love your accent too :-)
Thank you! I buy the WPC from - fabricwholesaledirect.com/products/ottertex-waterproof-canvas-fabric?variant=39460371890291 The printed woven cotton is from - www.hawthornesupplyco.com/
I experienced the same issues. Using a slippery (embroidery) thread made it possible for me to sew jelly vinyl. People say that increasing tension helps too. Ohh and I got non-stick needle from wawak.com - very inexpensive.
In this video I test the results of changing the thread and give couple pointers how to sew with jelly vinyl Aster Zipper Pouch Clear & Jelly Vinyl Version | Sewing Tutorial | JustynaTHandMade ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pUKj7iAfjqk.html
I don’t really understand your question. The zipper is facing down on the right size of the outer fabric. It’s not sewn in into the side seam, so it doesn’t matter is up or down when folded horizontally.
I git it rom amazon - it's a part of printed vinyl sheets - here's the link - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SZ2RHJ9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As always, she's incredible with her tutorials!!! This is a really cute bag and I bet is terrific in any other material but leather. If using leather, you must use very, very, "VERY" soft leather due to the top corners; although, the rest was fine with modifications for leather work. Love the bag!!
