This is probably the best art tutorial I have ever watched, Thank you so much for posting this. The amount of technique and inspiration is phenomenal. I found a packet of Caran Dache 2 in a drawer that I bought years ago and have been playing around with them. Your video gives very good tips on what to use to enhance then, Thank you! You artwork is just lovely. <3
You just answered all my questions. Thank you so much! Im new to art Journaling and wanted to make sure im using the products correctly. I was using chalk paint to prime my paper but dont like the heavy texture. I will be buying gesso yayy!
I am just coming across this video now, but you did an excellent job of explaining the different media to use in your art journal. I have watched other videos, written extensive notes, and yet still been a bit confused as to the why and when you use these different products. This basically has filled in all the missing information for me, so thank you so much for sharing!
Erin xx I have just watched your beautiful and inspirational vid. Much love to you and love your artwork xx So much feeling to your artwork. Your smile is so warming and what you went through. Tasmania is such an amazing place and so liveable too x such a place to breathe to be creative.
Thank you so much Erin, I really really enjoyed watching you create those postcards and I really really love ❤️ all of them, but, my absolute favourite is the painted picture of the girl. I really really love ❤️ her and think she really really beautiful too.
Omg! I just found your RU-vid today and it was just what I need to hear!! I too am a survivor of breast cancer. I only just finished my treatment’s this June 2023. Art journaling helped me through the tough times. My art friends helped me to cope and made me feel cared for and my work in our florist business gave me a purpose to spread joy and happiness and helped me forget my problems for a few hours a day. I am so grateful to find you today and to hear your storey thank you for sharing ❤❤❤thank you for the inspiration
I pop in here from time to time to watch this video and drool over how talented you are and how beautiful these pages are. The first time I saw this video, I knew I had found what I was looking for. There are so many pages I wish I could figure out how you created them, I pause and try to figure it out. I've devoured the videos that show your process for creating some of the pages. Thank you for sharing your beautiful light. Your good energy radiates through your videos. Please don't stop sharing it, ever!
Hello Erin I hope you are doing well and that you had a great Christmas and New Year. Things have been a bit tough for me so that is why I haven't commented or watched this video yet.
Exactly how I use the neocolors and prisma pencils. Fantastic combination 🙏. Love the way the soluble graphite pencil works and blends - will definitely try that 🙏. Beautiful, whimsical art 🌷
Every once in awhile, you come across a video that touches you as much for the artist’s beautiful spirit as did the art she created. Thank you, Erin, for sharing the beauty in your heart as well as the beauty you created in your journal. 💖
Erin, I love your "loose" techniques in this video , plus it's very pleasant to watch and listen to your lovely British accent. You don't talk too much, which I find to be very annoying in many artists' videos. The background music was perfect! The small accents you added at the end using the nib pen made such a huge difference in the end result. Keep making these wonderful videos!
Erin! Thanks for sharing your planner. After watching this video I went and stalked The Eden Planner on Instagram and was doing the same as you - zooming in on pages to see if it would work for me - then I headed to the web page to look at all of the specs. At first I thought it was a unicorn but then I found Sam's videos on RU-vid showcasing how to use the monthly and daily pages, and I placed my order. I'm really excited! And as a gardener, I'm not even remotely offended by the gardening analogies 🙂 I love your snowman family, especially the Victorian lady. And watching your kiddos make mud pies brings back memories of my own childhood...we are toward the end of our Autumn season and I'm already missing summer. I very much appreciate your bi-weekly filming schedule. I believe a more modest schedule is better for all of us. Take care.
heehee us planner girls have to stick together! It is a beautiful planner and I'm sure you'll love it - let me know how it goes. Gardening analogies all the way!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the snow people too, Victorian lady is my fav as well ❤ I know, mud pies by the creek takes me back as well, it's so precious to watch them and very nostalgic. I grew up by the beach and was out there baking pies in the sand everyday. You take care too Kit and thank you for watching and leaving such a thoughtful lovely comment. xxxxx
Hi Erin! I just found your channel recently and I am loving it! Love your art style, magical snowmen (my favorite!) and this beautiful planner! Happy Holiday Season To You xx
