You know, I saw a critique of this episode a while ago. And at that moment, I realized the criticism was actually right. Instead of wasting five minutes of the Third Act on a fight scene that Bowman was OBVIOUSLY going to lose, the story would have been better served by Lois actually worming some more information out of him. Specifically, What was Bowman actually DOING at the victim's apartment that night? WHY did he kill her? And what gave him the idea to frame Walker? All legitimate questions, wouldn't you agree?
I completely agree!! This episode has a few plot holes for sure. I really thought we would get some sort of an explanation at the end of why he did what he did and what made walker the perfect scape goat of all people. It's weird we didn't find out more of why things happened the way they did. I appreciate you pointing this out!
@@miss.toonslover Well, I can't take credit for the idea (I was still a kid when I first saw this episode and at that age, it's just not something you think about). Like I said, that revelation actually came to me after I saw another review of the episode and I realized, "Damn man, you know, he's actually RIGHT. That WOULD have helped the story a lot". After all, when you're talking about a murder-mystery plot, motive IS important. I mean, I suppose it's POSSIBLE that Warner Bros. may have stepped in and vetoed the gory details, like Fox reportedly did in the early days of Batman:TAS. Even though we actually DID see a couple characters getting straight-up KILLED in Superman:TAS, maybe they weren't TRULY willing to embrace that inner darkness until they got into the murky depths of Batman Beyond, which ended up having a MUCH higher body count.
Hey twin just a suggestion. Test your upload times you put in so much effort and I don't think the algorithm is finding your stuff and that's not right. I hope it helps
Thank you! It's a work in progress for sure. Sunday mornings was my upload time for a while then I moved to Thursday afternoons, now I'm trying times my viewers are most active. Somethings gotta work one of these days 😂 But thank you so much truly ❤️
Yeah my best time seems to be for me Tuesday morning but I guess for my fans it is Monday night and then it picks up if you count the Wednesday for me which I mean it works but I just want more for you cuz I think you put in way too much effort to get 33 views
🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 Awww thanks I feel you 100%. The low viewership only motivates me to become a better creator and more consistent. I'm certain it'll pick up one day, I just gotta keep pushing
This is one of my Favorite Episodes in Season 1. Not only it showed that there are Moments Where You REALLY Shouldn’t F*** with ANY of the PPGs (Or All 3 of Them - Reminder: That One Time They Nearly Killed Mojo Over a JAR OF CANDY), But to me it was also a Perfect Example of “The Nice/Quiet Ones are Scary When They are Pissed” - Because being Mean to Either or Straight-up Bullying either One can sometimes be either Suicide or a Literal-Death Sentence.
Not that it really matters, but Gwen does practice magic in later seasons of the series. She's also his cousin, not his sister. And the omnitrix (the thing on his wrist) allows him to transform into 10 different alien forms for limited amount of time. In this episode, his future self doesn't have a limiter so just stays an alien for as long as he wants. But as a result, he's lost touch with his real self.
If you seen the epidodes Bnb are hated by most of the staff faculty because theyre typical punk teenagers(but they think theyre funny) that dont pay attention. The princicpal hates them because of all the torment Bnb gave him and the tescgers. The funny thing was the only one who liked Bnb were Stuwart(the blonde kid) and Van Driessin the hippie teacher.
This is actually one of the first of only two episodes I’ve seen of Rocko’s modern life when I was a kid. Until today the episode is very vague in my memory because I was like maybe 4 or 5 when I saw the episode for the first time. Like you it’s been years since I even saw the episode too. 6:00 this part was the only thing I remember from the episode and thinking WTF?! 6:04 the whole milk coming out the utters and his head spinning around was the freakiest part of the nightmare fuel. 7:30 this was the worst part of the episode and truly scared me!
I was about that age as well. This isn't the kind of episode I think we should have been watching 😂 it was too creepy and scary. I'm like I thought this show was supposed to be funny, what is this 😂😂😂
@@miss.toonsloverthe other episode I remember seeing is Power trip where Rocko is put in charge of the comic shop while Mr. Smitty is away. And I thought that episode was weird and trippy
I sure am, copyright was giving me a hard time but tomorrow my first reaction video in well over a year goes up. Its not Hey Arnold but I hope you get to check it out anyway!
Early 90s cartoons could get crazy. The Simpsons was such a hit they were all trying to push the envelope. Looking back on this show I was too young to watch it the first time. Leap Frogs would be another Rocko episode to check out, that one actually got banned on Nickelodeon after an airing because it was too inappropriate, which for this show is saying something.
Stop talking over the video you’re not even paying attention there is a pause key to comment. And the so called funny bits you pu there aside the video are not. Sorry to says that but I couldn’t stand 30 seconds of this.
Did anyone else catch that hidden subtext about the innocent man being framed by a corrupt cop? Specifically something about said innocent man? *cough cough*
The reboot x men 97 has given Jean justice not sure if u watched it yet but it’s great no Jean fainting except for one episode also apparently Jean wasn’t popular back then until the whole pheonix sage so the creators had no interest In her in the beginning
