Good tip for the site selection - I wouldn't want to be beside the highway. That's a pretty nice cabin and convenient bathrooms right there! You had some awesome wildlife sightings. Would you say it's a good park for kayaking?
@@TheAverageTourist we did a short canoe trip down the river, the water has a weak current so it’s easy for paddling but that also means lots of still water so it’s pretty murky and lots of seaweed lol. Also lots of boats on the river. So overall I wouldn’t say it’s bad for that but it’s also not the best.
Ah dude, thanks for this. And it was an amazing show they put on that day, simply amazing. Your rec room concert sounds like the nirvana unplugged for me. Take care man
Great video even without the footage you deleted. We are headed there September 19 and heading for the Crack in Killarney on Saturday. Stay tuned for the videos.
My dad was moved from Philly to Chicago for work. Never talked about it and till this day not sure what he did but don't want to know. My mom's best friend was in Witness Relocation Program cause the mob was trying to kill her now ex-husband.
Fun fact: confinement on diminished rations, aka “bread & water” is still an authorized punishment for lower enlisted ranks aboard US Navy ships. It’s a deterrent and a hard lesson not to screw up. I have a relative who was unable to attend my wedding and later cross the border after a stay (or2😮). 🇨🇦🇺🇸
The Saint valentines location was right but there are five trees in the lot that show the back door of the garage two trees on Lincoln Ave that locate the front entrance and 3 trees that locate the famous wall. Just there recently and they all still stand.believe it or not couple's get married there.
Not sure if you'll get this since it's a solid year after the vid has been posted, but what do you think of the Midwest states you've visited? As someone who is from the region, it's always interesting to see others explore Midwestern states, all its nuances and interesting places given the region, like the South, isn't seen in a positive light.
@@jasonmaclellan9772 hey Jason, thanks for watching the video and for the comment. Sorry you didn’t like the music, it can difficult finding good royalty free music to use. As for the memorial clips, that’s what was going on that day in Ottawa, and since we support the message we decided to keep it in the video. Sorry you found it distasteful but we found it relevant.
About 4 and a half hours, once you get about even 2-3 hours north it gets very beautiful and many nice camp sites, i’d also recommend Tobemorry if u have never been which is stunning and only about 2 hours from Kitchener.
Nice little trek into the Canyon, and great job filming it. A little hiking tip: Get out of the boots and into VivoBareFoot Primus Trail FG. You'll love having your feet feel light and free, your toes being able to move and splay out for grip and balance, and your ankles being free to flex and move. And at the Canyon, less is more, so keep the packs small, like what ultra runners use. It's so much nicer.👍
@@ChrisandCourt If you get the Vivos, give yourselves some time to transition into them. Modern shoes isolate the foot, causing atrophy, because the foot is prevented from functioning sort of like a hand. So all the muscularity, connective tissues, and the arch structure, become weak. All of it will strengthen, but be patient. It takes a while, and you'll be sore. Wear 'em for a while around the house, and work your way up to wearing them all day, doing errands in them, etc., and then work your way into going for walks in them, and then hikes, and then longer hikes. In a few months, and especially after a year, you'll be amazed at how much stronger you are as hikers, how much more balance you have, and how you sort of seek out rugged terrain, because you have feet and shoes that seem to crave it. Once your feet regain real function, you'll actually hate the feel of the hiking shoes and hiking boots. They'll feel cramped, heavy, and clunky, and you'll feel them pitch your feet and your body around when you walk on trail.
Looks like a perfect winter day to hit the hills in Collingwood! Beer and fish and chips... sign me up! I stayed there one time and really enjoyed it - but no balcony in my room!
