Found it after searching through the playlist. This song around 2:10 just makes me envision progress - a society being constructed, a military being formed, prosperity abundant. Beautiful composition.
Civ V's soundtrack is really pleasant and often moving, but my problem with it is that most of it is modern, orchestral music and usually doesn't sound authentic to the time period that it is depicting.
I remember being ass kicked by this boss but somehow managed to beat the whole game before most kids in the town. The muscle memory I built up is really helpful playing this game even after decades.
The most confusing part of this boss is the color mixup. Moskito is actually red and the pink color used in the video is Bzzit’s. It wouldn’t make since if it would look like that Bzzit quickly betrayed Rayman after befriending Bzzit. And in the Mr. Dark boss. Bzzit’s face appears in the glass and the boss (where his head is mixed with Mr. Sax and Space Mama) But luckily Rayman Redemption fixed both of those problems.
I play this game since I was 9, at that age played with my dad that was literally addicted to this game. Now I understand why. It has such an unique beauty and immersion that no other game has and the music is one of the best in the whole gaming history. Thank you dad for showing me such a piece of art.
I think the CIV V Soundtrack influences how we play. Many times I got sad for attacking a country or inspired to wage war on someone because of the songs, it's truly amazing.
