Thanks for the video and you're really good at playing Zeus shield. In regards to 64 heat it was beaten slightly over a year ago on unmodded/unseeded (and then again 2 months later by another runner in vanilla Hades).
I like watching people who are better than me at this game because They go through the game quicker and kinda unlock less stuff meanwhile I have a ton of unlocks yet struggle to beat polyphemus and the mourning fields. Also hey you kinda out trolled the troll with the Hestia boon right there
Honestly, I'm still having trouble with Polyphemus and Cerberus too! I love these games because even when I lose, I still feel like I'm making progress or seeing new dialogue. I prefer the more casual progression they permit, but can also switch into a more gameplay focused playstyle on a whim.
Thanks so much. I'm genuinely not sure why, but any time I try to do a deeper voice, I default to a British accent. I'm actively trying to keep it from coming out, but definitely need more practice for Sans.
Oh this is new, your content is cool, you should be popular, i will watch your Hades 2 playthrough after i finish seeing original Hades. Hope you grow big
I'm not going to claim that every voice I'll do in this playthrough will match the character's the way I'd like, but I'm really happy with Flowey's. Thanks so much!
you mentioned another crabs treasure and i super recommend, and tbh he isn't a actual soulslike and is definitely on the easier side. the game is charming and pretty funny sometimes. i mean, just the fact that michael reeves dubbed a crab is a perfect selling point
i am flabbergasted. bamboozled even. i literally don't know anything about fire emblem, but i do know that god shattering star is a banger, and that you have adorable cats. also happy birthday kiwi!
hey, just me again. I wanted to recommend a game for you, outer wilds. i don't know if you know but if you don't, considering celeste and space for the unbound you probably are going to like it. and if you think its chill enough maybe even become content for the channel
I very much appreciate the recommendation! It's been on my list for a while and it's one neither myself or Kiwi know very much about. Just that it's been quite well received. So it will very likely happen on this channel at some point!
In my opinion pantheon of hollownest is a decent amount harder than any of the c sides, or at the very least much more tedious and frustrating. It just takes forever. If you’re talking about getting golden berries, some of the b sides are significantly harder than pantheon 5.
That's super fair! Pantheon 5 is such a time sink, and losses late into the attempt are quite disheartening. I think for me, I was just more consistent with HK and the gameplay meshed better with my sensibilities. I don't think I have the mental fortitude for the golden berry challenges, but I'm honestly considering trying an all bindings run of each of the pantheons in my spare time.
First of all, I just thought I would say, I like watching your videos a lot! Also once your done with your let’s play that your doing now, will you play undertale?
I'm glad you're enjoying them! So Kiwi saw this comment and made a similar request. Undertale is definitely on the table, although it will probably be the follow up to A Space for the Unbound, rather than Celeste.
Hey! I watched your run for the Pantheon of Hallownest earlier today and it was fantastic, congratulations! I am still stuck on P4 myself. As for Celeste, oh man. What a ride this is. You're gonna love this! I hope the channel becomes a thing, you seem to be a cool dude! Also, is there a story behind the name? Cheers from Brasil!
Thank you so much! P4 was pretty rough when I first got to it. Hang in there! My partner likes to fall asleep while listening to commentary over games. Her nickname is Kiwi. So the channel is for Kiwi. It has been nice to have others join in for the fun :)
Kiwi is very lucky to have you! 1:20 yes, it is. this game does know and use every speedrun technique possible in the gameplay at some point (mostly after the story). the game is very speedrun friendly. chapter 9 was added after the base game partly as a training ground for all currently discovered speedrun tech (even those the dev's didn't know about on launch). instead of natural 3-pixel high invisible gaps for sliding through walls of hostile blobs found in the first 8 levels the game gives you 4 and 5-pixel gaps!! some of them are even telegraphed!!
And I'm am very lucky to have her :3 I'm halfway through the B-side's now, haven't touched the core yet. I am genuinely considering trying to speedrun it a little bit once I finish my initial playthrough!
pokemon did dabble in themed gym leader in Sword and Shield. Raihan the "dragon" gym was actually a sandstorm team. and the fairy leader had a team that was technically all fairy types but with move sets built to counter poison and steel types.
I guess I hadn't considered Raihan. That is true. But actual enemy strategy feels so sparse. I guess the other half of my disappointment is just a lack of difficulty in the recent main line titles. Even nuzlockes largely felt trivial aside from a few end/post-game fights.
Jormungand is indeed the Norse planet-sized sea snake. the reason its poison-type is that the snake's death during the apocalypse myth causes acidic blood rain to melt Thor.
the three seashells is a sci-fi pop culture reference pretty much everything in this game is a pop culture refrence. i forget what movie did it, but they highlighted how out of place their character was by replacing toilet paper with 3 seashells and never EVER hinting as to how 3 seashells could clean, or why they would become so commonplace as to replace toilet paper.
Huh, weird. A lot of pop culture references will be lost on me if they're aren't from other games or anime. Seems that the movie it's from is called Demolition Man.
