Life with my crazy, sweet, funny, & loud 19 year old Moluccan Cockatoo, Gotcha! God is so good, I had the opportunity to give him a forever home in 2014 & I can't imagine life w/out him! Earning his trust took a lot of work & redirecting negative behavior that was caused in him. Adopting a parrot is like adopting a 2 year old toddler that doesn't grow up or move out when they turn 18. They can live 80+ years! Parrots are a LIFETIME COMMITMENT!!! 85% of parrots are resold, given away, or abandoned within just 2 short years of ownership! Please do all of your research before you consider adopting a bird. They are not meant to live life in cages. They need us, to do everything that THEY need to be happy and healthy. Gotcha was troubled, but I never gave up on him & he will be loved by my family forever! Thankyou for being apart of our family! Gotcha is the light of my life! Even on his bad days! God Bless each one of you! John 3:16 ✝️
Watching him climbing the stairs, slowing down for the last few, then jumping for joy as he reached the top was adorable. Gotcha really is a very well loved and good boy!❤️
Awww Gotcha, you are so precious. My name is Kelli Sue and I am also a Moluccan Cockatoo. I was lock in a cage for 17 years before my Mama got me 7 months ago. My mama is teaching me how to be a birb by playing videos like yours for me to watch. I am glad we found your new video.
Thank you for posting. You are so very busy that I figured you'd post when you could. Love seeing Gotcha outside and enjoying himself. Condolences on losing your sweet Kobi.
Aw, Katie, you are such a great animal custodian. I don't think I have ever seen anyone with such an understanding and empathy for the animals in your care. Gotcha is so lucky to have found you (and you are so lucky to have found him) :o)
