Ye he done very well winning Wimbledon to become the first Brit and a Scot to win it since such a long time this a Brit winning Wimbledon and done very well ..But his days are up and much better to end when u know u can end up just losing by a lot v a player you may well have won against when in your prime . way time to move aside .

Going by the first match v Germany and the games ive seen since , we are the worst team to venture onto German soil and a total embarrassment . Would have been much better if we did not qualify than this . I said before the match v Germany when all the podcasts on you tube all saying positive feed back AND i did not want to feel like a kill joy . BUT i know my football and said we would lose 3/0 and i stood by such all throughout and although the scoreline ended 5/1 to Germany , i feel we got off lightly with such , as should and well could have been more 6/7/8 . I have never rated highly this Scotland team like many others do going by wht they thought before match as to be honest we havent had good footballers since the 70s and odd few in the 80s Since then its been tough and computers which took control of young peoples lifes , i think thats been the biggest downfall of the game in Scotland with the shear lack of talent now . As for Switzerland if they play how they did v Hungary i watched , then Scotland are going home as the Swizz were a very good side also , and much better than i was expecting from them v Hungary . Hungry also can play as seen in 2nd half for their part in game , so looks like curtains for us as per norm in tournaments when Scotland get there once every decade or two . And i cant see Scotland make others for a very long time again when this is now in 2024 the best they have to offer . Scotland should have gone for a draw. Or lose 1-0. Scotland did not look like a team. But hopefully they learn a lot. I support England and it's still a struggle to get to a final and win it.
