Shows you how important punctuation can be. Judging by the title I expected it to be one of those a hilarious bad game translations. But that was quite good voice acting actually.
When you play the games in their Chronological order you understand exactly what Gabriel had to go through. He pushed above anything the Brotherhood of Light had originally trained their warriors to go against all so he could have the chance of having his wife again only to find out it was all for nothing. After that he had to give up his Humanity in order to SAVE Humanity from a Demon that was more powerful the founders of his Order. And after all of that he wasn’t welcomed as a Hero but only as a Monster that God demanded to have slain in the eyes of those he once knew. His rage isn’t unjustified but Marie in this moment proves that no matter how match Dracul says Gabriel died he is still in him very much alive.
I agree with you. Gabriel went through hell and back on a quest to bring back someone he loves only to be screwed in the end. I get he wants revenge against the brotherhood in mirror of fate but even with his new powers he can't bring marie back from the dead, leaving him alone and bitter, even got more angry when he found out about his son and how marie was tricked by the brotherhood into not telling him about trevor before she died thus waging war on god/brotherhood for countless years. I feel he is angry some at marie in concealing her pregnancy from him and listening to the brotherhood/pan all those years ago. But you can see and hear sorrow/pity in her voice as she talks to gabriel about everything and you can see some of these emotions in gabriel throughout the game. Gabriel says that human part(gabriel) is dead and says his new name to marie but the way gabriel talks to her and even seems like he is gonna cry in front of her, gabriel is still alive despite what dracula says. Marie is still gonna call him gabriel cause she will always see him as gabriel not dracula, same goes for their son(watch the revealtions dlc!).
"I had to protect him from you, Gabriel." That line just cuts so deeply. It's clear that Gabriel and Marie truly loved each other, but the fact that Marie tells him that she had to hide her pregnancy to protect their child from their own father, it feels like a betrayal. It just underscores the fact that everyone knew what Gabriel's fate was supposed to be, except for him. And no one did anything to save him. That angry response from him shows that it's not just aimed at God or the Order, it's a response to Marie's betrayal that didn't just lead to his own damnation, but their son's and all their descendants. This isn't Dracula asserting his goal or what he's going to do, it's snapping back that Gabriel is dead and Marie played her part in his death.
Marie was tricked by the brotherhood in keeping her pregnancy hidden from gabriel since they and pan knew what would happen to gabriel, through the mirror of fate fragment(pan had it in mirror of fate). She had only seen and heard of what the fragment showed and of what the brotherhood told her when they learned she was expecting her first child, trevor. I feel that in this scene gabriel/dracula is angry some at marie, since she never told him about their son, but he is more angry at the brotherhood for deceiving(lying) to marie and basically turning his whole bloodline against him. You can feel and see the sorrow in both their eyes in this scene and even see how they both still care/love each other despite what happened to them, gabriel unknowningly killed marie while being controlled by zobek, gabriel becoming a powerful vampire/accepting being the prince of darkness, accidently killing his own son, etc..
Same here, but it also showed just how profound the moment was for them. Especially Dracula, who was mentally and emotionally reeling from her sudden surprise visit, and everything that went with it. Loathing at himself for being the hand that killed her, loathing against the Brotherhood for their schemes that ruined his life, loathing at her part in it, and loathing against God that he could not even be granted the release of death, all to save a world filled with corrupt humans that took everything from him. In short, too much baggage for both of them to have an open display of affection at that moment.
@@maddan9086 I think also because the scene was too short. I saw some people that found some code in the game, apparently there was to be a sex scene in the game. Probably after you get caught by Carmilla or loose to her. It probably got cut as did the Dragon fight at the end
@@azistis_5539 Oh? This is news to me, but it's pretty much standard that content would end up on the cutting room floor. Still, with that cut content you get people like me who come up with some pretty decent in-universe interpretations of who these characters think and feel that the devs likely didn't think about at the time. 😋
well at least they hugged each other in the game, aside from when he was feeding from her before fighting carmilla. Still would have loved to have seen them kiss at the end of the game though.......
I love his beard and his white hair! Also love his armored coats, especially this one he is wearing right now, it really shows off not just his chest but his power!

What terrifies me the most is when I'm facing Dragon Master because his Special Move will take your entire health by taking your heart away. So I have to use a weapon to take a distance from him. If you get caught by his special move then you're fucked.
@@frankcrisostomo8724 You can use the knife of Master Kwun, which is fast and strong enough to always keep a distance between you and your opponent if you keep pressing T with your opponent trying to get close to you. Remembe to only press T, rather than T plus Backward or T plus Forward. T plus Forward can attack the opponent if it is a little farther away from you, but it wounds less than T and isn't able to keep your opponent from contacting you, so I don't think it is worth using. As for T plus Backward, it is strong enough to make your opponent fly away and then fall down and brings more damage than T, but it makes you stay still for one second after you use it, which is the best moment for Lo Ki and Dragon Master to grab you, and the action "grab" can break your defense before the real attack is performed, so I don't think it is worthy of being used when Dragon Master or Lo Ki is in full gauge. But unlike the whip which is originally used by Wong Shu and Chingamy Yip, this weapon originally used by Master Kwun and Ice Queen(she is a hidden character behind the cheatcode but she is hard to use) can't keep stumbling your opponent after it gets cornered by you, so in conclusion you can't defeat your opponent efficiently with it but it can prevent you from getting grabbed. (P.S. Continuously stumbling your opponent at the corner with the whip(T plus Backward after taking out the whip)until it's health is used up is a cheating way to win)
@@thebleinn they should do a remake of this game but make it an actual huge game and have story mode, two player, quick battles, etc, have all the characters from the games except the 3rd, it’s a shame they didn’t add Shun Lau, Shaolin and Wu Tang to the 3rd game, I see a lot of potential in this game even though the trilogy was made a while ago.
The developers must give us more powerful weapons if we want to continue the game. Even 'Loki' tanks can stand a lot of hits from Torrent and 2 pinpoint hits from Argus then what will it takes to knock down a single Excalibur or Avatar
