I think you could make AMAZING watercolor pages, Audrey! I love to buy pdf and png coloring pages and that I can download and then print them on my favorite Bee Watercolor paper for brush watercoloring with my Princeton brushes, or my favorite alcohol marker paper for my alcohol markers; depending on which art products I’m in the mood to enjoy that day. Maybe you could go all out and create the best brushes for the growing adult coloring book audience!😊❤ 🎨 I have a very inexpensive HP top load printer and I have never had a problem with it taking Bee 100% cotton watercolor paper or my thick alcohol marker paper! As long as you print from the color cartridge to print for alcohol paper and the black cartridge for watercolor paper. And, you can also use the coloring pages on the I-pad, although I am not very experienced with that, yet. And then we could have color-a-longs with everyone using their favorite way to color!! 😃 LOL… just my imagination going a little crazy tonight… but so enjoyed watching this….you inspire me with your fun ideas that make your pages really POP! One of my goals was to create a watercolor "workbook" this year, and hopefully I can still get to it, but I might not get to it until next year. I'm curious about alcohol marker paper! That inner critic is loud some days and quieter on other days. I totally understand how you feel. I love doing the "morning pages" where you write 3 pages of stream of consciousness. This is a discipline from Julia Cameron-I highly recommend you look into it. I can't get into it all in a comment here, but I recommend her book "The Artist's Way" because she talks a lot about that inner critic and how to confront it. It'll take time, but give yourself grace and be patient through the process. Rooting for you~
I'm disabled so I'm home all the time so I color to keep my mind busy I was coloring with sharpies but I'm trying different markers do u recommend any for coloring
Hi there! Glad you're keeping your mind busy with coloring. It's a great expression for creativity and relaxation. I'd recommend basic Crayola markers (the SuperTips) if you're budget-conscious and want a variety of colors. If your budget allows, alcohol markers is another great option. I'd recommend the Ohuhu brand that has about 24 or more colors. Hope that helps !

HOW EXCITING, I’m so happy for you and I just signed up in support of you and pray this is a wonderful creative journey for you!!❤ My favorite brushes are the Heritage series by Princeton. I love the Stroke brush for making swatches and abstract pieces. I also love the liner brush, and I think I typically get a 2 in those. And can’t live without my 6 & 8 rounds. Another brand I like really well is Rosemary and Co. Her brushes last forever!! ❤️ Also, I LOVED the coloring book page with the alcohol markers….it was just the perfect relaxing and enjoyable project that😊 I was really needing right now! I hope you will do more of the pages on future lives! 😊

I see so many people using those. 6 and 8 rounds - definitely my go-to brushes, too. I've never tried Rosemary and Co but I've heard really great things. Thanks for the review and as a Polychromos user, I was first skeptical about these pencils and didn't want to buy them as I still had a beautiful set. But I got over my thoughts and tried a few colours individually and I was BLOWN out. These pencils are just something else, don't get me wrong, Polychromos' will be always my favorite oily coloured pencils but these pencils are really really nice, has different colours than Polychromos, they layer just like Polychromos.. For their differences, I have noticed that Caran d'Ache's pigments are a little darker than Polychromos overall, I tried each colours and yeah, Polychromos has more saturated colours. Pablo is a little softer than Polychromos, which is nice. They both mix colours heavenly (for oily pencils. I'm not saying oil based because a pencil is never just "oil based" or "wax based". I call them oily or waxy because it's one of the ingredients they mostly contain inside. And oil based pencils aren't the hardest. As we can see, Pablo is quite oily and they're kinda softer than Polychromos but still layer very well. But don't get me wrong, they're just softer than Polychromos, they're overall not a soft pencil. Did you know almost every waxy pencil contains a little bit of oil and oily pencils contain wax? And it is about how these ingredients used for lead. Some waxy pencils are extremely soft like Premier Soft Core pencils (yeah they're actually called soft cores because prismacolor premier has other products like verithin, and it's the official name) and Derwent Drawing line is one of the HARDEST pencils I have ever gotten into my hands and they're mostly waxy. They're way harder than Polychromos too. If we assume Premier Soft Core's are the softest and Derwent Drawing pencils are the hardest they're in the middle but slightly closer to Derwent.) For mixing colours surprisingly Pablo does a better job, kinda. Pablo mix some colours better than Polychromos but mix some colours worse compared to Polychromos. Polychromos colours in my opinion are the most saturated and pigmented colours i have ever seen but Pablo's do a really, really good job. For blending, it's mostly the same but Pablo's blend easier. For layering, Polychromos overall layer more than Pablo. Thats all I can say about them. And I'll definitely use them together when I buy the full set of Pablo's. You will definitely won't be disappointed. If you want to try professional colour pencils for the first time, have the budget, don't really experienced on soft lead pencils, good for fine details but also don't want something too hard and blend easier Pablo is for you. But if you want more saturated colours, more layerability, fine details and not bothered about blendability, try Polychromos'. Edit: Also, I love Caran d'Ache, and I want to try other mediums from Caran d'Ache, does anyone recommend something? For more context, I really want to get more serious on pastels. I have tried them and they suit so well for me. Some people and some artists don't really like them because they're messy and overall, but they're just so satisfying to use and work with. Especially oil pastels, wax crayons, water soluble pastels and crayons. I heard Caran d'Ache has a discontinued product of Pastel Cubes (their product name), also known as Hard/Firm Pastel Sticks. They're a mix of oils and waxes and they're could just the best. They're more like pastel pencils. Now I know, I haven't tried them at all but I have tried Polychromos Pastel Sticks and they're just like their coloured pencils, firm and textury. Now I wonder how Caran d'Ache's pastels were like. Companies started to discontinuing their hard pastels because over years it's really got hard and expensive to find the right supplies, as they're descreasing over the years. So a lot of companies discontinued their hard pastel products and I think a lot of companies are waiting the perfect time to bring them back again. As far as I know, Faber-Castell used to have 120 colours for their pastels but then discontinued it for a while, then bring them back in 60 colours. I hope Caran d'Ache will bring them back soon. I also tried soft pastels, which in the same category as hard pastels. They're called dry pastels, soft pastels are usually also referred as chalk pastels. But other than actual chalks they're softer and only for a few surfaces. They're really really dusty, while hard pastel's aren't.

I recommend starting on a small sheet of paper with something abstract. Just paint shapes in different colors. Check out my relaxing watercolors videos for some ideas. :)

I liked the painted agate slices - maybe the blue a little more than the pink. But once you added to the gold to the pink it's hard to choose. The gold metallic paint you used is amazing!
Thanks Sheri! I think the blue stands out more because the darkest values are so deep and contrast well. But yes, once we add metallics, then they're both pretty! :) Thanks for catching the replay~

Hi Audrey - enjoying this landscape series. Especially like the greens in this painting. Very green in Wisconsin right now from all the rain so it suits my mood - lol I'll cast my vote for the small size holographic stickers. They'd look great on my sketchbooks.

Beautiful swatches. I am eyeing the Spring set. But I just wonder, I have the 24 Holbein gouache set... and the lemon yellow G526 in the set is also PY3. I wonder these 2 are the same. I also wonder if the Bellflower is the same as Holbein Lilac gouache since the pigments seem to be the same (maybe different proportions).
I like the hologram that gives more dimension. Black cat is now black shimmer cat! The size is good with me too! As a collector of stickers, real estate is precious on my water containers 😅
