The first and only time I saw the Kings was their last show in Rochester, in 2010 at the German House. What a show, what a band. I also bought many a CD at the House of Guitars from Greg, the singer. He always had his eye makeup on, I didn't know at the time how effing cool his band was. At least I got to see them at the end. Absolutely killer.

Once you see Greg you can’t see this band any other way. It began and ended with him. Any other version of this band should name itself anything but the CKs. It’s only going to be a lesser version without him.
I know. I really love the original band and I agree that the new version of this legendary band is great I'm sure, but I just can't support anything but Greg and the original boys...!
Greatest living band at that moment….still resonating after all these years! Greg Prevost is legend and has it all down to the nth detail baby…..American legend and we’re lucky to be around at the same time!
Saw the CK live 7 or 8 times over a 20 year span (1987-2007): every single time their sound mix was impeccable unlike the other bands' who played before or after them at the same gigs
@@johnfromme5718 You were seriously lucky to see them. This calbre of musicians ever only came to Australia once in a life time. If we were lucky enough. Johnny Thunders only came to Australia once, in 1987. And I was so poor I had zero money to witness such an Icon...nevermind.
How cool is the drummer !! Almost upstages Greg ...... Compare this to Foof Flighters corporate rock , and come to the conclusion not all is lost in the U.S.
i think the skull masked villain,the phantom,should have been used on the tv series,if they did,i think film noir tough guy and character actor edmond o'brien would have been perfect for the role!
