I am a big fan of Butler maps from 2016. I use REVER Pro and its on there, But I buy the physical maps to help me plan. With all the apps we have, there is still a place for maps. Call me old school, but having a map like Butler in my hand is so satisfying. Extremely high quality material and maps details. Keep up the great work, hoping to add more states to my collection. One accessory I love to see is a magnifying glass to read or an app that shows a blown up version of the route. My eyes are not what they used to be. LOL
For anyone that ever spent time in Taos, New Mexico before the year 2000, all you need to know about why Butler Maps are freaking awesome, is the fact that they have actually printed, “The Former Blinking Light” at the intersection north of town. Anyone who rides to Taos, and asks an old timer local, “How do I get to the gorge bridge?”, will know that they will always respond, “Head north and then turn left at the blinking light.” Well folks, the light hasn’t been a blinking light for about 20 years now. It’s a full blown traffic light these days. The fact that Butler put that on their maps is just freaking genius. Bravo!
The Hillsboro to Silver City to Reserve is a great ride. Extend this ride by taking 180 to Luna and west into AZ and where you turn south on 191 at Alpine to enjoy 90 miles of G3, G2 and mostly G1 riding down to Morenci, AZ. Bravo, Butler!
The north side of La Sal pass is extremely rocky, my fender fell off. This is not a good way down. I think I would have been safer taking Lockhart basin, next time.
