Use the Thunder to intercept his jab combo. He will always use his jab combo after being knocked back or after going "wohoho". I struggled with him too the first few times.

I believe it’s using Unity. The core problem is the lead developer listens to community feedback. Unfortunately the wide majority of the community is delusional and is definitely the case of a loud minority. That’s why this game with such lack luster gameplay has a more functional franchise mode than the actual game itself.
@@showtime1285 yeah, they will never pull a wide player base without good gameplay. The majority of people want to play football not pretend to be a GM. And unfortunately with this being like the ninth iteration of this game it’s hard to have much confidence anything will ever come from this game. I will give them credit it looks a lot better than it did, but the pace of improvement is way too slow.
Honestly it isn't that bad. Defense is really hard though. But I think they mostly went for a Head coach style game. Hopefully Maximum Football has more fluid gameplay.
