The Tracks is awesome. You can record CC automation with it, and it can do sidechain ducking on two external things, and it has a surprisingly good web interface for the synth engine. It's so much better than using a KeyStep to control things. And it's the same size as a Launchpad which is kinda cool. And the Bass/Nubass/Drum are the only Volcas I can really get excited about. The Nubass is the more normal one with pattern chaining, but the Bass does the paraphonic thing and you can have different length patterns for each oscillator. And I think there's alternate firmwares you can use that maybe fix some of the downsides, mainly that it doesn't have 4 PPQN sync like a trigger sync. It only has 2 PPQN which is 2 steps per pulse which is really weird. And it has a 3-part sequencer, but you can't play them independently on 3 MIDI channels. But I really like it. The thing that annoys me is I really like having a 16-step TR-style sequencer with all 16 steps in one row. I'm really not an Electron fan, but I like the Model:Samples just because it's a great sequencer for 6 channels of MIDI stuff. I wish Behringer would just make a chopped down RD-9 that works like a $200 Cirklon clone. I've said that since the RD-9 came out, and now they just released the RS-9 which is almost exactly that, but it's a 4x4 grid and I'd need to get a eurorack enclosure for it. The Polyend Play non-plus has gotten pretty cheap, and it SHOULD be a great sequencer for external gear, but it's not. It can control a LOT of devices. It has separate USB vs. TRS Jack MIDI busses, and in the MIDI mode you can assign any step on any row to any of the 32 channels while you simultaneously have 8 lanes of regular "Audio" patterns running from the internal engine. So it's pretty powerful, but it's got a really bad workflow where you only have one global sample/channel/note selected at a time. You can't put hi-hats on one row then rearrange them just by tapping on them. Even if you select the row, it doesn't select the instrument/channel/sample/whatever being used in that row. If you want to change where the hi-hats are positioned, you need to first long-press an existing hi-hat to copy that step into the global sample/channel/note buffer. It's really clunky. And if the long-press isn't long enough, you've just deleted the step instead of copying it into the buffer. And it's not polyphonic. It doesn't feel like an 8-lane sequencer. It feels like a halfassed piano roll, and you'd be better off just using a DAW. Having to long-press on a non-clicky launchpad-like controller feels totally wrong. And Polyend stuff uses the TRS B MIDI spec which is ridiculous. But the lights are pretty!
@RaquelFoster Wow. You really know your stuff and I think you've helped to explain an issue I've been trying to resolve with the Volca Bass. I've been trying to use the sync cable to connect the Volca to the Circuit Tracks. But the speed is all out of whack. The tempo of one of them is twice as fast as it should be, which I think is explained by your description of the quirks of the Volca. I'm looking forward to making more videos in the series and have already published the second one yesterday. Thanks for taking an interest.
Is it like a pre fx and post fx option? I want to be able to record my classical guitar from a dynamic mic since it's noisy around my room. Will this be good enough compared to the focusrite 2i2 3rd gen?

You can do this a couple of ways. The easiest way is to parent each cube to the bone. You can link multiple objects to a bone. Of you can join objects together, to act as one. The link that to the bone.
Hello. You change the speed by changing the amount of rotation between keyframes. However, this only works to some extent because of how rotation is perceived once rendered as a video. You will have seen an effect in real world videos where wheels appear to rotate slowly backward when the vehicle is actually going forward. This is because the rotation of the wheel starts to get in sync with the frame rate of the camera. If you want to make things look like they are moving fast you have to introduce motion blur, which is a feature of blender.

was wondering, is there anything special to the Beats version that is not included in the regular full version? I was thinking of installing it the other day out of curiosity but maybe its just exactly the same sounds etc only "limited". Cheers
MPC Beats is the free version of the full MPC Software. There's very little difference really. The main two differences are that MPC Beats is limited to 8 midi tracks and one audio track. The full version has 128. But I rarely use more than 8 anyway. The full software also comes with more sample packs and VST plugins, but you can use you own anyway.
I Flatten after basic drafting and chanell strips shaper/filter etc. Basically my initial design/placement to sit whatever I made or sampled into the mix. Im using it as a quicker Render/Print ...commitment, organizing etc.
