Hi! I'm German Korb and I live in Montreal. On this channel you will find Montreal Walking, Driving, and Plane Spotting videos. If you would like to be notified when I release a new video then I invite you to subscribe to my channel and click on the Bell icon to be informed when a new video is released.
My Camera Setup I'm often asked what camera do I use to record my videos, therefore I decided to create a shopping list on Amazon of the camera and accessories that I use and recommend: www.amazon.ca/shop/germankorb
Thanks for making the video. I grew up at 5988 Angers St. and lived there until 1979, when I moved out west and now live in North Vancouver, BC. It was great to see some of my old hangouts, including the Dairy Queen, Connaught Elementary and the indoor pool. So much of the area still looks the same.
You seem to have a tendency to show the full look of the newer buildings and construction sites. You walked past and on your left ,what looked like some beautiful old historical buildings, but you decided to show a construction site on the right. Montreal's true character is the beautiful buildings. You have shown st Catherine's street a thousand times. There are so many beautiful streets in the downtown area you seem to neglect.
So, in my opinion, it seems like there are way too many cars for the scale of the neighbourhood. It seems like a small cozy town but it's completely ruined by automobile traffic.
What a refreshing look at Downtown Montréal! Thank you! I finally returned in April to this wonderfully cosmopolitan metropolis after a four-year absence due to the pandemic and Amtrak's suspension of the Adirondack. All of your Montréal videos prepared me beautifully for my trip. I'm returning to MTL this autumn. I can't get enough. The Adirondack will be running past Saratoga Springs, NY, by then (mid-autumn). In the meantime, this lovely video is amping my anticipation, especially since my hotel is downtown. Because my upcoming stay will be longer than April's, I'll be able to explore many of the neighborhoods that you've generously filmed for us in your walking videos. My walking shoes are packed already, G!😄 Thank you for always capturing clear, gorgeous images at a nice tempo that allows us viewers to actually zero in on all kinds of businesses, activities, and historical and cultural sites.🫶🏻👍🏼
@@gabrielapaulinho1luv that great to hear! I hope you have great time this autumn in Montreal. During the foliage season, you can vist the mount royal park and westmount. These are very nice spots during autumn.
