I have one technical question: Why when doing unhooked freestyle riders always do the trick right away after unhooking, they never do it like unhook ride few meters then do the trick. My friend was teaching me how to raley and he also said it that u have to head downwind unhook and then immediately load edge and do the raley but he couldn’t explain me why 😂.
That is correct. The reason for this is relatively simple. When you ride downwind and unhook, the kite drops lower in the wind window. If you wait too long, the kite loses performance. This means you can't jump as high and far anymore.
