To get the trophy in brutal do I have to do a continuous run or can I close the game? And if I can close it, to get back into the game do I simply click "continue" or select the chapter?
Why don’t you take like…any damage when you are taking direct shots from the enemy. I’m getting rocked for like 3k and you’re taking like 300-500. I can’t make sense of it
I can confirm that this still works as of July 26th (Hard -> Crushing) and July 27 (Crushing -> Brutal). I owned a Greatest Hits version of the collection as well, not the original release.

Hello does anybody talk on here anymore? Im wondering exactly how im to use tweaks on brutal uncharted 2 I have the Nathan Drake trilogy on disc . I was told delete game and reinstall and it works but im not wanting to lose my saved level difficulties crushing was so hard and I didn't even know about the tweaks then. Can someone tell me step by step because the videos and everything's not working.
You need to reinstall the game offline, without installing any patches, and follow the instructions in the video. Bear in mind it only works on the original trilogy disc, the one with the cream/yellow coloured cover.
@@CaptainSellers I was able to enable tweaks for both Crushing and Brutal on my Greatest Hits disc. Just had to install the disc offline, everything worked perfectly.

So you can uninstall the game and re-install without any loss in progress. I clear out old games from my hard drive all the time and then re-install them if i want to play them again. All the game saves are fine each time i do it.
This still works. For everyone thinking of using this, please remember to change your game difficulty back to Hard, Crushing, or Brutal after you've selected your weapons and/or turned on tweaks. Otherwise your playthrough for the current chapter will be ruined. I've had to replay Chapter 5 and am having to replay Chapters 15 and 16 because I forgot to do this.
How the FUCK did I fail with this method? I have tried every single other build that I've looked through hundreds of videos trying to find anything 4 weeks and even this extreme cheese fails? How is this possible? I hate this fucking game. I've tried the yuffie spam I tried genji glove arcane ward plus brumal ive tried EVERYTHING I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY I CANNOT BEAT THIS CHALLENGE NO MATTER WHAT I DO I HAVE TRIED EVERY COMBINATION AT LEAST FIVE TIMES SOME 15 ADD A COUPLE 30 OR 40 THIS MAKES NO SENSE
Great video and hack. But this is just repetitive piss-poor design by the developers built all throughout these challenges. Even with a killer squad like yours, it takes an eternity and looks boring after a while. The challenge stops about 20-25% into each battle, then you're just grinding out, repeating, dodging, healing, attacking, etc over and over again. My guess, is this is where they saved all that time getting out the game in 3.5 years. Not as much attention to detail tuning some of the mini games and challenges.
Lmao bro this method is soooooo slow there's so many ways to end this fight faster than that. My favorite one is building around Tifa's divekick, but there's the Yuffie ATB cheese method, the full magic spam etc... hell you'll even see people on RU-vid beating this faster with just one character ! They are indeed very hard, it took me several hours to achieve this one too, but they're not piss poor design as you try to make them look.
Curious did you consider for the battle with Virtual Sephiroth to use Planet Protection? to provide that extra level of physical damage immunity, plus with the elemental pairs in your armor you could virtually take zero damage, with plenty of enough time to build up the limit gauge to start your limit cycle; but with a safety net in place first. You could play more aggressively this method. as well I suppose, just a thought.
Just worked for me as of 05/04/2024, disc version on version 1.0, currently updating to version 1.02 to see if the save stays tweaked, just hope the trophy unlocks once i complete it on brutal. already have the plat but just wanted to try for the 100% so if this works you are an absolute godsend, i'm just not good enough to do brutal without the help, crushing was my limit.
@@gladiator709 Neat. I assumed you would need to keep it in offline for the whole playthrough but i guess you just need the 1.00 version to get the glith to activate. Then after that it's already glitehed so you can just keep playing.

Finally got this done today thanks to you! For Barret I swapped Luck Up with Spirit Up , and Cleansing with Chakra so that I could consistently heal him without emptying my MP. Got it done in about 1.5 hours. Had been stuck for almost a week. Now to beat the legendary simulations, and then the platinum is secured. Thank you for the build!

Do you have any advice bro? I just finished Rulers of the outer worlds but i still have to do the Zack and Sefirot fights with Cloud, but im a little nervous, people said that those are the worst challenges of the game
@@Black_Leon009 Yes sure. Personally i abused the sleek saber + prime mode + sonic boom + braver combo with Cloud. It melts Titan with stop casted by Zack. Have reraise with magic efficiency on you to cast reraise in the Bahamut fight which is the toughest. In the Odin fight too if you are not comfortable perfect guarding him. I run with elemental fire ice on my armour to absorb Phoenix and Kujata's attacks (most of them). Cast manawall before Kujata's tri disaster and phoenix's flames of rebirth. During the Alexander fight try to stay in the air as long as you can (braver does extra damage if you are on the air) because bullshit is all over the floor. Have the accessory you got from rulers with you and try to get it to level 3 limit break with synergy abilities it does a ton of damage also have a limit siphon to take Zack's limit. His limit is weak. Legendary fight 8 with Zack is a demanding challenge. The Sephiroth one not so much because it's pretty much the same but Sephiroth is a better fighter. Good luck! Just braver him till he dies. In the Phoenix Kujata fight try to cast manawall before their ultimate attacks. Have elemental fire ice on your armour to absorb most of their attacks. Do a synergy ability before so you won't spend mp. In the Alexander fight stay in the air for as long as possible because there is chaos on the floor. Also braver does extra damage when it's aerial. Cast reraise in the Bahamut fight and save your atb for the particle charge move to destroy his wings with the combo i mentioned. Sonic boom followed by braver is enough most of the times. In the odin fight you can perfect guard him a bunch of times but if you are jot comfortable abuse character switch to build atb for synergy abilities. Have the accessory you got from rulers on cloud and limit siphon to get Zack's limit because his doesn't do much damage. Build it to level three with synergy abilities and siphon it. If you did rulers you got this. The last challenge with Sephiroth is so much easier because he is a better fighter than Zack. Good luck!
This was the fourth or fifth different strategy I tried. I have beating my head against this wall of a challenge for almost two weeks now and it was seriously killing my enjoyment of the game. Five minutes ago I had finally bested this. Bless you for the setup and strat. I had way more trouble with the earlier fights than other strategies (I think I died multiple times to every one of the first three stages), but it only took me two cracks to break through Gilgamesh (the first one was quick because Barret got the frog, and he was my cleaner), but I got Sephi on the first try. I get it, this is supposed to be hard. But this feels like too much. Thanks again for your contribution.
Oh boy I was hoping you’d say this strategy was what helped you get passed this. I finally just beat the tonberry king and joker in brutal challenge 4 but this method couldn’t work against most fights. Can’t wait to use this limit loop strat later
It is way too difficult and ruined the game for me and a thousand others. A thousand others I've legit read their complaints. It is not fun anymore I'm just trying to fucking complete it so I can make a video telling people how bad it is while having it beaten so they know not to pick up the game unless they want ONLY STORY because endgame is suicide cause. Legit not fun, insta death, never win, only 0.1 percent will ever plat this bloated POS game. C- rating because end game sucks and lets the enemies cheese you but you can't cheese them bcuz you don't have materia worth a fuck yet
