This channel is about Trimet and the light rail system here in the state of Oregon. The main series of videos here is the MAX 101, a list of videos dedicated to those who are curious about our local transit system. This is a second channel. If you want to visit my main channel, check the Featured Channels or type ZombyZac into the search bar. Enjoy the videos! I have now added my email address for inquiries.

I kinda like 215’s weird interior. The type 4 interior design on a type 2 makes it feel like…clinical. Like a doctors office. Idk. But it’s an interesting unit to ride
Why is there a rail diesel car service from Beaverton to Wilsonville? That's the most logical railway to convert to an extension of the Red Line. I watched a Trains Are Awesome* video on it and nobody rides it. If there was frequent light rail transit supported by denser development people would use it. *Or Miles in Transit, or Classy Whale
At least I went there, when I don’t work on that day. I stood on that Platform listening to a Better Red Extension. I watched 185th Traffic, We are Correct, it is a Bad Intersection. Accidents don’t happen very often, but the Time is not good at all.
I was hoping to see the type 6s in service after coming home from Canada. I don't hate the type 1s, but I do really want to see the type 6s in service.
Not for Very Long, cause 185th @ Baseline is a Dangerous Intersection, that needs to be Grade Separated Bridges. We heard that Construction will happen in March 2025.
@@OtterMan310I will have the longer distance I don’t care how far, Somehow I’ll be strong I know every mile will be worth my while, I could go most anywhere to find where I belong.
Not only is bus service pretty much the thing hybrids were built for with all of the stopping/starting, but if (crosses fingers) Trimet ever embraces or at least experiments with trolleybusses it will be easier to retrofit these to work on wires then conventional diesel busses while unlike pure battery busses we don't need any charging infrastructure when we haven't built wires yet. On the one hand I think Trimet should replace all busses with hybrids when they break down but on the other when they supposedly plan to go all electric by 2040 (I swear it was 2030 at one point) and don't plan on putting up wires I can see why buying hybrids rather then battery busses would be counter-productive.
Guess What I checked on 185th Traffic & made a video, it turned out that it got Worst. We definitely need a Light Rail Bridge cause it’s a Busy Street.
The Intel routes Jones Farm and Ronler Acres are employee shuttle service to Orenco and Fair Complex Max station. Charter Up route is for construction workers only. Swan Island shuttle only went into FedEx parking due to the lack of open business open. This made for more faster and more frequent service. When there is something going on at the Moda Center, it becomes more difficult to maintain the service on time. PIO bus route is for students and employees of Lewis and Clark College only.
