This is probably the best review about this bag that I have seen. I’m watching these reviews to make sure this is the best present for my mom’s birthday. 😭
I have heard alot that the new basic one having 300ppi, non flushed screen has sharper text than paperwhite 5 and gives more of reading from a book feel. The flushed screen gives an impression of reading on tablet compared to basic one due to waterproof flushed screen covering the display. Is it true? This maybe the reason why you mentioned that basic one looks more pleasant?
Thank you for this awesome video. You presented all of the sections and functions of the Franklin Planner. I have used this system for more than 20 years. I retired last November and decided to use another brand planner but I missing some sections that are important to me. Clearly retirement did not slow my life down, lol I will be returning to my faithful Franklin companion.
well, I think I would focus on the things that brings me most joy. Previously, when I was working full time, the limited hours that I had, I spent on making videos because it brought me joy
I use Hobonichi Cousin at the moment though I’m experimenting in the B6 CP. I just uploaded a video myself about these two planners and I’m really drawn to the idea of using CP next year. Great video 🤗
Hi, just checked out your channel and I love how you use your Hobonichis. Your creativity on utilising the pages are really awesome and inspiring. You've got a new subscriber 😃. You would definitely enjoy the CP as well since you are already enjoying the Hobonichi.
Hi, I have the Macbook Air 13 inch M2 model. I'm not sure which 14 inch model macbook pro is yours, but I did check out the size of the latest 14 inch model of Macbook Pro. Based on the size, I am pretty sure it will fit into the laptop pocket of the tote bag because my 13 inch macbook air with case still had some room on the sides when I put it into the pocket. Hope this answer helps.
I recently bought it and still waiting for it to arrive to me; meanwhile your video answered tiny doubts that i’ve had about this product; Thanks a lot you are a lifesaver
Hobonichi designed the Weeks as the out & about on the go planner and the cream color paper is overall easier on the eyes. Thank you for the comparison!
Hi, the binder was one of the goodies from Cloth and Paper's Subscription box. Unfortunately, I did not find it in their current collection. You can try checking out Poi & Hun sticker books. They have various sizes and I'm very sure that you will find one that suits you.
No, there is no Kindle Paperwhite 2022. The latest generation of Paperwhite is 2021 which comes in 3 colours (black, blue and green). The basic Kindle is called Kindle 2022 and it’s much more smaller than the Kindle Paperwhite. These are the kindle’s that I’ve shown in my videos.
I enjoyed your video and now you have me thinking of Sterling Ink for 2025! Your planner is lovely AND functional which is the best of both worlds. I have too many planners and I would like one that I use for an entire year that is nice to review at times but the lure of rings, spirals and TNs in addition to Tomoe River Paper bound books tug at my heart strings and make ME spiral! I think I watched and enjoyed your Franklin Planner videos, too. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed watching the videos. I can totally understand your feelings. I planned so well in December 2023 that I know which planner that I'm going to use and all. However, by the second month of 2024, I switched to Sterling Ink. Hahahaha... the world of planners is indeed enticing, isn't it. 😅
My first planner was Filofax. I love their planners but not the inserts. I find it not so functional and the paper qualities are not up to my liking. But they have various style now but still not for my planning system. On the other hand, FCs have various inserts that are very functional. Unfortunately, I find their planner binders are not as great as Filofax. So, if I want the best of both world, I would buy Filofax binders but use FC inserts.
I have a lot of stickers collected over many years 😅. The page flags and shape stickers are mostly from Cloth and paper. Meanwhile the characters stickers are from gottallist studio and keena prints. Thank you for watching ❤️
Yes, they do. Unfortunately, if I add the weekly pages in my planner, I won't have space for the daily page inserts which is my favorite in the FC. I guess, I can make it work if I have maybe 2 or 3 months only in the planner to accommodate both weekly and daily insert
I have the same problem about spaces in my planner when I take breaks - I just fill those bits with stickers, doodles, or thoughts to make it pretty/trigger memories when I look back on that week
Greetings from South Carolina 🎉 New Sub planner junkie of Franklin, Hobo, Sterling, Papertess more so the last 3 mentioned because I love the feel of TR Paper! YT has kept you hidden! I enjoy watching your videos and really like the flow of your planning style.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thank you so much watching my videos and subscribing. It means the world to me. I love the TR paper too. I wish all the planner manufacturer uses TR papers 😆
I am considering the FC system, but I just switched over to Filofax from Hobonichi. I might try the undated to see if I like it--Ideally I want an all-in-1 planner, instead of the multiple planners.
Hobonichi is an awesome planner too. I love the planner. However, I switched from it because the FC was much more compact and was easier for me to find my months and daily inserts since they are tabbed 😍
I really appreciate how you explain your troubles with the tiny wallet, and the systems you devised to deal with them. That was truly helpful, and is not done too often, unfortunately.
I would say it's okay for me. I don't feel the weight so much. But I drive to work. If you are someone who's commuting in public transport where you need to walk far or will stand most of the time in the public transport, I would say it's too heavy for you and you will definitely feel it on your shoulder and there will be handbag strap mark on your shoulder too (i've been there trust me 😅)
This makes me miss my Franklin planner Carrara! It was my planner peace for 2021 and I have been struggling since I switched and got a full time job outside the home that I want to keep separate from my personal. It really makes sense to do the master task list and indexing important events.
When I was working, I used the Franklin Planner too and my favourite is the Master Tasklist section. I think it's the best planner for those who are working.
I’m about to embark on the same thing! I have a hobo weeks and hobo techo A6. I’m getting my SI B6 today and hope to only use one. Glad to see I’m not the only one to make this change already two months into the year. 😊
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one changing my planning system too. I felt guilty when I was changing the system 😅. Hope one planner works for you too.
