Although we are in party rentals, we use packaged pricing with an overall price. Yes, its not standard because everyone is following how things are done in equipment rental. But there are too many labor factors in our industry, plus demand and timing. So I use dynamic pricing where I can "bid" the project, it allows me more control. Low work, better price, if we are too busy, higher price. This cannot be achieved by showing each line item, so we show an overall packaged price. Either the customer agrees or not. Also rewards work with food and travel because those are creature comforts. For pur business, its better to give something rather than a discount, like a gift.

A lot of times the reason rewards programs in our industry do not work out is because we are not cold Emotionless and calculated, like a website or rewards program is with most large companies. We are personal warm with an emotional person to person Interaction. as one of the gentlemen said if they just asked for the 10%. I probably would just give it to them one because we're worried about losing that customer over that 10%. Because we're being emotional VS just calculated And willing to bend the rules versus a digital rewards program doesn't have that choice.
