Congratulations ma’am💐💐 Please can you share how long it took you to learn German ( A1 ) and how you could pull through the challenges for this level. Thank you so much.
Hello dear Rosemary, 😊 I will gladly share. First, I started with RU-vid channels. There is a pattern of immersing yourself in an activity. Even while working I had earbuds playing these basic German videos for beginners. Send me an email and I will share some of the playlist to you. I also took German A1 classes so these combined helped me greatly.
No, it rather health insurance in Germany (from Mawista). I wanted to know if the embassy will be ok with me, if I purchase an initial 3 months package?
@patrickpicklingtsilenimil8714 hello, I really don’t understand your question particularly but the embassy does not request for Germany health insurance. Nevertheless, you cannot complete your university enrollment without health insurance electronic confirmation.
Hello Chidinma, thank you for this useful video. Please can you brighten me on if the letter of commitment can be provided by a non relative, like maybe a friend to my father who is in germany and financially stable ?
Thanks for making this video,, unfortunately this is d greatest pain for me I’ve tried to get agents here In Nigeria but I can’t…. Please ma’am do you know of agents that can help out I don’t even mind d interest …this is really helpful ma’am… keep up d good work
Hello, this is quite rare in Germany Public Universities. And even if there is an English taught Bachelor course, the Studienkolleg (a mandatory one year preparatory course for international students) is done only in German.
Why didnt you explore getting fully funded scholarship being a first class degree holder. does first degree performance not count to getting a master's degree scholarship
Unfortunately I didn’t due to the semester of my application. The scholarship available as at my application date would have delayed me for 1 year and 6 months. I came in during the summer semester.
Hi Chidinma, thank you for the video and for being very honest. Please I want to ask about the language, is it compulsory to start a language course before the beginning of your study program or you can do it in tandem with your main course?
Thank you so so much 😊. For the second question, no it is not required to learn German. If your program is in English, then learning the language is a choice.
Sorry for disturbing you. Please what's the name of your school and was it that legalisation wasn't needed because you applied while you were already in Germany or is that how the school operates.
Hello, the two universities I have applied to both from Nigeria and while in Germany required no legalization. My current University is the University of Kassel.
Can you please state how you got your documents legalized in Nigeria? Where exactly did you take them to and how much did it cost. Thanks for all you do.
Hello dear Abiola, I did not legalize my documents. It was not required at all. I simply uploaded all my documents on the university application website
Studying in Germany is usually free for public German Universities. There's usually a semester fee (usually between 100-350 Euros) that covers for administration, public transport and student services.
Hi Chidinma, i got to Germany to a Private school and i want to change to a Public school even before i start the semester. Is that possible ? Kindly let me know
The only thing you need to do is to send in your application to universities of your choice. When you get an admission, you simply go to the immigration office to change you university and course on your documents and work permit
Wow, is Kassel your university? I am a DAAD scholar and Kassel is my school. I would love to connect with you when I arrive. I am currently in Munich for my language school
Hello, Category of Visa would be B. For Bachelor’s degree application, almost all Bachelor’s degree programs are in German. Even if it’s in English, German is compulsory to pass through Studienkolleg (a one year program before bachelor’s).
