Really sounds like the whole group without being technically ridiculous. It’s like you did a cover of the band - without trying to be the band. So, beautiful. Though, I thought classical cats didn’t improvise. Damn, you’re still going! Wow.
My dear husband just recently went home to glory after battling cancer. Thank you for this beautiful video and song! It touched my heart! God bless you!
So sorry to hear about your husband - prayers to you & your family. I'm glad God used this song/video to reach you in whatever way you needed. God bless.

Professor Cullen-what a lovely surprise to find you in my RU-vid feed performing one of my most favorite songs! Quite a nice rendition. Have you listened to his Mahogany session for this song? We saw him a few weeks ago in Santa Barbara. I was in lessons with you, probably almost 10 years ago, at Etown. I hope you’ve been well! 😸🙏🏼☀️
Glad to see Dave on RU-vid videos. We used to live in Berks County, Pa and see Dave perform regularly with our best friend Chip & Kim. We miss seeing you perform live - Brad & Rei, now living in Asheville, NC.
This song should have 1 million views it’s ever so much as beautiful as Andrew Yorks “Home” and just as heart wrenching this is hauntingly beautiful and the greater world should hear it! You capture all the nuances of coming home, even the ache of knowing it can never be the same.
Bravo..you have caught the right tempo of this song..the feel a very unique composition from Maestro Ralph Towner..a new one at that.He is always coming up with very interesting ideas. Congratulations on your take on a wonderful song.
This is an excellent version of Ralph Towner’s beautiful piece. Ralph plays it faster, but I expect that Ralph is hearing it in his mind with Oregon. This version allows us to hear the color and detail that can be lost in a rushed take. I love the recordings by Oregon and by Ralph, but this is very lovely, too. Thank you for posting!
