We are a small family farm located east of the Cascades near Yakima, Washington.
We live the homestead life growing food for the family and livestock, canning, homemade meals, fixing our own farm equipment & autos, and crafts to trade.
We host free to attend Eastern Washington Off Road events. 4x4 trails, backroads, overland, & road trips. Named after the dryer part of the state east of the Cascades. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Washington .
We are members of the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club. As members we volunteer to help keep agriculture history alive.
This is not a how to channel, but is a channel that sometimes shows how we do things.

When I first found the place, I tried to top it a few times but that lip stopped me. I learn quick not to try anymore. That hill damaged a lot of ORVs and broke my brother's finger.
I don’t remember that fence being there a couple years ago at Copper City. Are they trying to keep you out of the stream? The trail up to the mines is fun but I doubt some of the rigs in your group could’ve made it through due to their size.
That fence is new to us too. I am not sure why it's there. It is also over grown since we were last there. I did not take the group up to the mines because years ago my JKU didn't fit well turning on and off the bridges. I knew the JT didn't have a chance. Thanks for watching.
Nice report. Brings back many memories. I wonder if my old Durango would fit between that log and the rock? Looks like it would, but not much room to spare. Thanks for posting. Jerry, K7PNW
Thanks Jerry. I am glad I didn't bring my Yukon. I have to get a new chainsaw for down trees in the trial. I don't use my gas saws enough to keep them running, so I am thinking of a battery powered saw.
Thanks Jerry. We had it as a stop for last weekend's overland trip, but there is a fire closure and we found other places to go. I am working on that trip video right now.
Cool. And I'll bet it was REAL CooL, ie: cold. I've been to Troy 3 or 4 times, taking different roads in and out of the canyon, and really like that area. Good to see another one of your videos, CEG. I miss the fun times. Jerry
Thanks Jerry. We have done the Blue Mountains trip 3 times, 2015, 2020, and 2024. We changed up the route up some the 3 times but always stop in Toy. Most like to swim because it is hot out. I don't like swimming.
Fun video. I've traveled Kendal Skyline several times, but have never camped, or travelled overland toward Troy. I'm hoping to go soon, hopefully before the Cougar Creek fire closes everything. Are the GPS tracks available?
Thanks. I never thought to make GPS tracks. We started doing this trip with a map before we had a GPS. I did make a GPS route to get mileage for others, but it was not the same on the ground.
@@jkcrazyjim We try not to go to the same areas but once a year. The summer has mostly mountain type trips. We use to do one of more trips per month, but we had to cut back due to the cost of everything has gone up at home taking away our fun money. We just did a overland trip in the Blue Mountains in SE Washington-NE Oregon. That one has a lot of miles on and off road to do. We are hoping to do a day trip at Moses Lake Sand Dunes in September. It is not as good as Juniper IMO, but the Potholes are fun to go around is why we go there.
Nice to see a young man who is bringing back the old. The only thing these David Bradley tractors are as bad as Crack. They are so addictive you can't get enough attachments. Or tractors.
Mr. Bil is our Labradoodle Sally's doll. She loves him. Our Lab Shelby takes it from her for attention. We are on the second Mr. Bill dog doll. He doesn't talk anymore, but Sally still loves his. Thanks for watching!
I am a disabled Army Veteran trying hard as I can. My kids are grown up and have their own lives to live, so getting help is hard. I could use your help making this place nicer. Message me when you want to come over. Thank you for watching.
Looks like the pigs loved the apples. We love visiting farms, homesteads, ranches and vineyards with harvest host. Thanks for sharing your place with us!!
We are a very small farm. You are welcome to stop in sometime if you would like. We just ask for an advance notice so we can make sure someone is here to show you around.
